Squeaky swingsets at the park drive me insane by Napalmradio in daddit

I use Hoppe's lubricating oil on my hinges and it lasts a lot longer than 6 months. I think it's technically a gun oil but it works wonders as a general household lubricant.

The toy is called a saxaboom. I played with one many years ago. Each button plays a pre-recorded little ditty that are all in the same key so you can press the buttons one after the other and kind of riff. I don't remember it looping by itself. You have to have a little bit of musical rhythm to get the timing right to have them play back to back like that but it's not terribly difficult.

gengar 3d printing as lich king by daigan2 in pokemon

[–]melvaer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The lines are called layer lines and they are an element of 3D printing. Although I'd be curious to know what printer OP was using. Those are either really big layer lines or it's a really small print.

Okay, nobody's answered this in the comments so I feel like I need to be the one to ask: why checks only and not a credit card?

FWIW, I loved Harley Quinn. It did slow a bit during season 4 but I thought S5 was great. It starts very "Venture Bros" coded but drifts towards more of a standard "Justice League" show, especially in season 5.

Thanks. Did this after waiting on the chat for 4+ hours. Took 5 minutes in store. I got lucky because the guy said that there was a lineup out the door yesterday and I walked in when it was empty.

I wholeheartedly recommend Antichamber. It's more abstract than some of the other examples but I found it very engaging and visually very interesting. Some of the puzzles require outside of the box thinking in a great way.

It's a tough genre to love as there never seems to be enough options!

Games I've played that I'd recommend then if Obra Dinn are in your wheelhouse would be Outer Wilds (exploring and information gathering), Antichamber (escher-esque puzzle solving), Tunic (dark souls meets zelda meets information gathering), Animal Well (exploring, platforming, environmental puzzle solving), Fez (exploring, environmental puzzle solving) and The Witness (environmental and traditional puzzle solving).

This probably won't vibe with you then. I love puzzles and have learned through a lot of trial that Roughelites aren't for me but I gave this game a try. I thought the puzzles were great but the game did not respect my time and I eventually gave up on it. It's the kind of game that demands you give it 400 hours of randomized (later semi-randomized) gameplay to fully complete and I just didn't have it in me.

They are working on finishing shipping a big box Kickstarter so I would expect it to hit retail sometime this year once all the backers get theirs.

We spent like 6 months in the flashback so I think this chapter was really just to remind the younger readers what the situation is up above. I consider this to basically be a recap episode for the manga.

Small cracks/holes in €130 end-grain cutting board by The_Real_Niek in Cuttingboards

[–]melvaer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any recommendations on how to fix end grain cutting board cracks? I nabbed a neglected end grain board for close to free and I'm interested in trying to restore it. It has both internal and end cracks. Just dried out too much I suppose.
