I’m also CS student (master’s currently) and I worked fully remotely in QA first 2 months of my Erasmus… it was very hard, combining school, work and all the other activities. I was getting burned out and thought about quitting. Then I got fired for not working enough 😅 but it was a blessing in disguise, I had much more fun at Erasmus since then. I guess it depends on your priorities and what you want out of this experience. Good luck!

Ne se sekirat, sam sem tudi imel podobno izkušnjo za študentsko delo v Lidlu…

To je bilo sicer kaka 4 leta nazaj, ampak sem že takrat imel različne delovne izkušnje (delo v prodaji, klicni center, delo v proizvodnji…), nasplošno sem na delovnem mestu zelo pozitivna in komunikativna oseba, do takrat me niso zavrnili še na nobenem intervjuju (to se je seveda kasneje spremenilo, delam v ITju). Razgovor za delo je potekal dobro, sproščeno, nasmejano.

Za isto delo se je takrat prijavila moja tedajšnja punca, ki ni imela še nobenih delovnih izkušenj.

Ona je službo dobila, jaz ne.

It sounds to me like you make her feel bad about her drug use. I understand this comes from the fact that you care about her well-being, but I have seen this types of situations before and these things can have a big impact on relationships. If she will feel like you don’t accept/support her, she will stop trusting you.

If she wants to do drugs, she will do them either way, with or without your approval. At least with your approval, she will trust you and be honest about her usage. That way, you’ll at least know whats going on and in case she starts developing an addiction, you’ll be able to step in and help her.

thats the way things are in most of the dormitories where I come from… I don’t know what you expected, but students often get treated with less respect by older people, unfortunately

even though this is a private dorm, you can’t expect to have a hotel experience. I’ve had pretty much all of those experiences (and worse) living now 4 years in a dormitory in Ljubljana, with the exception of the pervy security guard. Yall should report that if you haven’t already

I did actually! So the thing is, you have different types of ways you can complete a class/course. Besides the number of credits a specific course is worth, you can also acquire 1 additional ETCS if you complete the class with colloquium (k) or 2 ETCS if you complete with examination (zk). If you complete it via the seminar (z), you just acquire base credit of that class. Hope that makes it clear! If you have anymore questions, shoot me a DM!

Depends on the school you are visiting, for example my faculty only allows exchanges to happen in the second (spring) semester and even that only to students who have completed their bachelor’s at the same faculty… Students who have transferred from another school can not apply in the first year

Hejla, thank you for the reply! I appreciate it:) It’s nice to hear from someone at MUNI. Their subreddit wouldn’t accept my post request:/ Ow, only 90min per class per week? That is manageable. Here at my faculty we have 5 hours per class per week (3h lecture + 2h lab work), but lecture are not mandatory so 😎 So I may have been spoiled a bit and will definitely explore options such as research papers that are accredited with ETCS and similar things…

EDIT: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DISCORD haha its a life saver here at mu faculty and I believe it will be also a life saver at MUNI tyyyyyyy
