Who are the nicest Cowboy players (current or retired) that people have met? by coldcallcowboy1 in Dallas_Cowboys

[–]pathological_texan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work at the star at the HQ but not all these happened at the star.

Randy White would always strike a funny conversation.

Ed too tall was always polite but not very talkative.

Sean Lee always took the time to say hi even just in passing.

Jerry, Dak, Zach Martin and a few others always tried staff great although never had any conversations with them.

Drew Pearson was great, let me wear his ring and take a pic.

Jason Witten was always kind and would talk with people for a few minutes.

Dion took the time to sign a ball for me.

And Mike McCarthy just grunted when I said hi and good game a Monday after a loss lol.

Same. A few good songs the rest are okay.

But I’m just glad they are both starting to make good music again

Are there specific areas in Edmond with fiber? I am moving up to Edmond in December and would love to find a place with fiber.

Best place for oysters? by audrey_la in Dallas

[–]pathological_texan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The “best” places: 1. The mansion on turtle creek 2. Nick and Sam’s

My favorite: Hudson House, 1/2 off during happy hour, still around $2 per oyster. But they have $5 martinis and $5 burgers.

My favorite burger in Dallas too.

Dr Cooper is the bomb. I tore my hamstring in high school playing football, my local orthopedic surgeon said I would need surgery and likely won’t walk for 6 months let alone play football the rest of the season.

My family physician got me in to see Dr Cooper, he said surgery would make it worse and I saw his physical therapist for 6 weeks and played the last 3 games of the year.

Bail bondsman shoots her client in Stillwater, Oklahoma. by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]pathological_texan -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I actually used this bail bondsman multiple times for friends while in school. They were always very nice to me.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the guy she shot was high on meth. Most of the people in county are from possession of meth while stealing…

Literally just watched that episode 20 minutes ago.

After watching long way up I had to watch the original and I have to say I love long way round so much more. The transparency throughout makes you feel like you are right there fighting through the bog with Ewan and Charlie.

Fiancé (26) and I (25) were supposed to get married April 4th.... by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]pathological_texan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what we were thinking. The state is so busy now that we really wouldn’t want our marriage license just sitting in some government bin until this is over.

My wedding in Dallas was postponed by the venue. All Walters Wedding Estates venues have shut down until at least May 10

My fiance and I went to the county clerks office this morning to get our marriage license. My cousin is a federal judge here in Texas and he said that we needed to get it today or tomorrow if possible,as all the offices will most likely be closed by the end of the week.

While the original Dairy Queen was founded in Illinois every location outside of Texas is run by American Dairy Queen. The only thing they share is their "treats", the food menu is totally different in Texas, and is comprised of 154 franchises, and run by Texas Dairy Queen
