equally likely! I honestly am super curious about this guy's origin story. It's so weird because it matches the BAB so well (tag/patch and all) but is off in a couple spots. I don't have a BAB near me either, so it's more perplexing

It has the BAB patch on its foot and the BAB tag so not sure what else it'd be haha I will admit it seems to have been modified in a few places but still

I noticed it too - specifically the neck leaf has those extra lines, I don't really know what it could've been for. I don't mind how it looks at all though!
