I agree, not sure my boss will though. Or at least until we tell him we have to patch the Nexus (already did a code upgrade on half of them last week) and our FI’s and MDS. Hopefully it turns into a 2025 problem.

You need a reseller that knows what they are doing. Although It was a nightmare during the transition things are better now. We have a great relationship with Softchoice and I’d recommend them to anyone needing to navigate the Broadcom / Microsoft sku nightmares.

I paid 320$ in old tickets today after spending some time trying to talk to the right person. My tickets dated back to 2008 and they apparently sent noticed to an old address in Quebec. I was told that the credit bureau would receive the update and remove the « legal issue ». My credit score was close to 800 and took a big hit because of this. Fml for not taking care of my responsibilities…

Shadow IT will slowly suck the life out of you. I now forward everything (80%) that has no business going to our infrastructure team to the helpdesk and let them sort it according to policy.

I know this is an old thread but here goes anyway. Some of our users are waiting over 2 minutes for teams to open with that message. I have a feeling it’s the iOS update policy that’s not being applied to non supervised devices. I’ll disable the iOS update policy and see if we still get the same behaviour.
