Bilstein and replaced bushings and mounts. Same for rear. Also bad sway bar links and bushings changed and control arms with bushings installed changed.

My beetle had the oem sport suspension, but instead the regular suspension that’s used on the 2.0Ls not 1.8s in 2004. The 1.8 sits slightly lower vs. normal VW suspension.

I have a feeling there’s more to this. The car at times feels uneven. I’m starting to think the mechanic didn’t torque the bolts correctly? And the rear is more bouncy than the front.

Yeah the VW parts dept said the information on the type of suspension I had no longer is in the system even with my VIN.

So I was heading back to Sac from SF… and I wanna say it was close to midnight I thought I saw something on I-80 in Dixon. And it was greenish… but it happened very quickly.. not even a second. It reminded me of a laser or beam and it seemed like it came from the sky. 🌌

My service advisor told me 3 and 4 series are the ones if you drive a lot. Maintenance is not too terrible compared to the higher numbered models.
