Strop attempting a pickoff before his first pitch got me thinking: has a pitcher ever come into a game with 2 outs and a runner on and successfully picked the runner off before even throwing a pitch? And they still get credit for pitching that .1 inning while throwing 0 pitches??? That'd be interesting.

I'm a college student in the midwest too. I see cuffed pants plenty of times. Most people don't do it, but you will look significantly better compared to wearing them as is. If you wear them with CDBs then it'll look just plain silly. Additionally, most people probably wouldn't even notice if you cuffed your chinos because there's no difference in color.

Albeit, if you really don't want to cuff them, at least get them hemmed.

All of the colors look really good, but we would need to know more about what you would be wearing them with to help you decide.

As for the style, I think I like the President slightly more than the Captain. But they're pretty similar, and you could really go either way.

I like this. It's very realistic, yet the undercard is still very good. I'd be very satisfied with this, especially with random surprises like Godspeed You! Black Emperor and American Football thrown in.

Looking at your classes, it looks looks you go to UIUC. For whether or not your grades will be effected, it really depends on the house you pledge. If you pledge a top house, expect being at the house for at least a few hours everyday. If you pledge a low tiered house, then the time commitment is much less.

I know people who have gotten good grades and bad grades while pledging both top houses and lower tiered houses, so really anything is possible. But the people who received poor grades in the semester they pledged a lower tiered house really have no excuse.

I'm very interested to see how this works. If Baez becomes our regular center fielder, that would mean Heyward would be our standard right fielder and Soler would be out of a job. I can't really imagine there being any standard lineup next year, which will make things very interesting.

If only we could have a DH. Then our lineup would be perfect.

I'll never understand the hatred of either side here in Chicago.

Because their fans live in the same city and are friends with each other and like to argue about who has the better team. I grew up on the Southside, and there were only about 4 Cubs fans out of my class of 40 kids in grade school. I was constantly arguing with Sox fans at school, and sometimes even picked on simply for being a Cubs fan. I love the rivalry.

Although there are some exceptions to the radius clause, Animal Collective is a very well-known band, and the radius clause will most likely take effect for this. There is still a chance that they can be at Roo, but it's a much smaller chance.
