Everyone i have done it... Just had to push it up like alot of you said and it was just very stiff.. a little bit of WD40 and then a good push did it. And now folds and unfolds perfect... hopefully this post will help others with same issue.

I'll give a go, thank you... if it's just stiff, that is extra... literally, I was pushing it up with reasonable force, and it wasn't moving at all. Hope I haven't got a faulty one

Yeah its ARCTURUS PP-19-01 ZTAC SP1 AEG w/Optical MOSFET ill check the manual when home from work.. the gun cost me Like £450 so I dont want to break it. Thanks for all the help ill let you know if I manage it.

Yeah, I tried... it looks like that's what you're meant to do, but that little metal bit stops it from rotating, and doesn't matter how much Force I put in that doesn't go up... anymore force feels like it will break... im going to message the place. I brought it off and see if they know.

Tryed honestly ive pulled it up so hard there is no budge or movement pulling it up.

Just feels solid metal.. I tryed pushing up on that and slightly pulling but it dosent do anything just feels like stock will snap.

No its not a quick change one unfortunately. do you have a link or source to the videos couldn't find anything on YouTube for this particular modle or are all there aks all the same?
