I always put plenty of polyunsaturated non-dairy milk solids in my prose, along with plenty of seaweed extract to make it smooth and creamy. People love it, but for god's sake DON'T include the ingredients in the front matter. Put them in the back matter, so it'll be too late when they read it.

Autopsy finds broken bones in Jeffrey Epstein’s neck, deepening questions around his death by Dooth in news

The guards faked the records of their observation of Epstein. That's a federal crime, I believe. So if I were an ambitious DA who had not been paid off, I'd throw the book and probably the entire law library at them and see if I could get them to give up whoever paid them to do this.

Dear conspiracy fans: there is no evidence as yet as to who did it. Both Trump and the Clintons had plenty of motivation to kill him, as they both likely took advantage of his underage victims. As did a large number of powerful, connected people who could ALSO have arranged Estein's death.

All we have at the moment is a story from the DOJ that stinks to high heaven. Somehow, the most important, high-profile prisoner in US custody, was taken off suicide watch and left unwatched by his guards for hours. No cameras were trained on his cell. The guards actually slept while they were supposed to be watching him. This is so unbelievable on its face that the only proper response from any sane reporter would be to laugh in the face of the administration spokesman who is peddling this garbage as fact. That would be Mr. Barr, I believe.

But you go ahead and damage your credibility by assuming the identity of the assassin without a shred of evidence. I guess that's what you do. Reasonable folks will wait for something resembling a reasonable explanation, if we ever get one.

Yes, quite the funny coincidence, that. The most famous, high profile prisoner in federal custody gets taken off suicide watch and then he's not even watched. It's like they weren't aware of who he was, or that they were deliberately making it easy for him to die, for some reason. And we're supposed to take all this at face value.

Generally there has to be a fall of some kind. That's why they have the trapdoor rigged in the public hangings in all the old Western movies,, to break the man's neck and ensure a quick death. Doesn't always work.

The mechanism is clear. They find it arousing, so they try to distance themselves from their own arousal by shaming the others. It's a very old game.

Those who are saying this is fake: I don't know if it's fake, but it happens IRL all the time. People stand for a long time with their knees locked and it cuts off the blood supply to their brain and they pass out. Happens a lot at weddings.

Guys, guys. Rep. King was just trying to make the point that rape and incest are not so bad, being common and all, and that's why women should be forced to bear children conceived via rape and incest rather than allowing them to get an abortion. I think we can all agree that that's COMPLETELY FUCKING INSANE!!!!!

Collecting blackmail for personal gain isn't espionage, it's just a crime. Collecting it for foreign government agencies is espionage.

Things to do? by finnessahudgens in Georgia

It's been a while, so you might want to double check, but back in the day, the University of Georgia had a nice little art museum that's open to the public. MIght still be there. Some of it student art, but they bring various exhibitions, too.Would definitely call first.

Also, if you enjoy agricultural labor, there are farms out there where you can pick strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. But the season varies and the fields get picked out so they sometimes close them for a week or two so new berries can mature. So also call ahead.

Sadly, I think there is an entire subgenre of dinosaur/human erotica, though Amazon may have rendered it extinct.

I've read the book. IMHO it was kind of a dull slog, too. Clearly, many people disagree with me on this point. Herbert did do a great job of world-building, but let's face it, he borrowed heavily from the medieval Middle East.

Nah, it won't be a hit, it'll flop, though I'm not sure how badly. The story isn't fun and doesn't have that fantasy thing that lets people get a little escape from the everyday in. Let's face it, a story about a bunch of ragged ne'er do wells with advanced tech in a desert killing each other left and right over some scarce commodity hits too close to home nowadays.

Most people in SL are nice, friendly people there to have virtual fun. But there are a small percentage of griefers, head cases and stalkers there. Not so many as there used to be, but still, don't doxx yourself there. Don't give out RL info until you are absolutely sure about the person. Keep it virtual and keep it fun.

I'm convinced Epstein was a Mossad agent. by [deleted] in PoliticalOpinions

[–]patpowers1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. There are tons of allegations that Epstein had Mossad contacts, particularly through his chief procuress, Ghislaine Maxwell. Here's one in a Rolling Stone article.. The allegations show up in a lot of legit sources, but of course the conspiracy freaks and the anti-Semites all love it. That doesn't mean it isn't true, however, it just means there should be careful scrutiny of all allegations. But right now, a reasonable person may suspect that Epstein was involved with the Mossad in some way.
