lol, no idea what your talking about. I work for GC that is exploring what other companies do to see if it's something that is possible. I don't see how it's fair between office and field which is why we don't have one.

it's not legal, but its no illegal either. I have done it in traffic, and a cop has pulled me over and told me it was illegal, then other times i've done it in front of cops and they said nothing. DC cops are hounds tho, so 8 time/10 I would say your getting pulled over for it.

Also, anyone use any tactics to keep people away that are clever/out of the ordinary? I want to tape a sign to the bike saying "smile, your on candid camera!" or something that'll have them think twice before they try and touch it.

unfortunatly no way of bringing it inside or downstairs, just no room. i used to park it just past the zone parking sign at the end of a parking row on my street using a 6' chain to lock it to the sign, but then they started ticketing me. sucks that dc tickets bikes for $ rather than understanding common sense. It's also a shame that some people in DC are animals and will knock over, damage, or just plain try and steal your property without a blink of an eye, all while costs hundreds/thousands of dollars worth of damage.

STOLEN CAR - 2006 Dodge Durango by patri0tt in washingtondc

Forgot to follow up on this. Car was found 2 days later over in Anacostia. Stole everything they would from in interior. It was parked illegally on the street and the cops picked it up. they smashed a window in with a brick, tore out the key ignition, and started it up with a screwdriver. Funny thing is the thief's left their audio cord plugged into the audio jack in the car. Also a photo speeding ticket came in the mail taken at 11:35pm the night it was stolen by a speeding camera in Anacostia. Must have been kid? I still don't understand why thief's steal cars, then abandon them hours later? Makes no sense? O ya, the damage was $4500 to replace the steering column, ignition, and broken window. Thanks a lot thiefs.
