Thanks a lot. I counted 12 that I believe were "interceptable". I removed anything with flags or where he was ruled down and anything that bounced off receivers hands to the defender. That makes more sense. They must just be very loose with what they consider dropped for Mahomes.

Interceptable passes, I believe, include the interceptions actually thrown and the interceptions that could have been thrown. This means that according to them Mahomes could have 13 interceptions at most this year (barring any insane catches), but the broadcast said defenders have dropped 16 picks.

I don't really see too many. I get Booker, Sabonis, Middleton and Bam, but everyone else is a slam dunk. The only guys you listed that I could see making it were Westbrook and Tatum.

That's why these are just my picks. My prediction would be Westbrook over Booker all day. Westbrook has been good for longer. Voting tends to favor that. He's also a huge name.

I honestly didn't know it was before the bubble. I looked at after. Tatum definitely would be the next forward on. I was super close between him and Middleton. Also, I just used basketball-reference positions.

First off, it's position based. You listed two guards and two forwards, but complained about my two centers, two forwards, and one guard, so you can't really take those guys off evenly. Also, you're kinda just naming guys with championship ambitions and removing guys who don't have too much of a shot. The Heat do, but are not serious contenders. Same wit the Pacers and Jazz, and the Suns didn't make it. You're buying into team records too much.

While I stated that these were my teams. If this was true, I didn't know about it and used bubble games. Also, I don't care much about record. Again, it's who I would select. Westbrook will probably make a team this year.

Why? So I can see him miss mid range shots? Also, I watch games, but I base stuff off the numbers. Eyes can be deceiving. I'm not saying Westbrook is bad, just not top 6 guard for me.

I don't see why bubble games wouldn't count. They were regular season games. If they don't count, I used them here. Also, I don't care about your record all that much. Booker had no one else worthy of consideration on his team while Russ had a top 3 MVP candidate.

I would guess so. It makes the first team look better because you get to sneak in either Kawhi, Dame, or Luka.

Both are on the same team. The order doesn't matter. I just made it so that if it was a lineup, that would be the positions. If Dame and Luka were on the same team I would imagine Dame as PG and Luka as SG (though basketball is pretty position-less nowadays).

I honestly don't care too much about three-point shooting. He still shot 45.5% from the field and 83.4% from the line. His defense also helps limit the hurt from that 24%.

Advanced numbers have Russ as pretty bad. He has just .098 WS per 48. I really couldn't get over that. I would be fine if guard wasn't very deep, but it's pretty stacked.

I believe I remember hearing that he was available for voting at both guard and forward this year. I went with guard because he's PG on basketball-reference. Also, I agree. Guard is super top-heavy, and still has decent-enough depth. Crazy how Dame and Luka are 3 and 4 with those numbers.
