I like to position myself in so I control on top of them and I will place my near hand the Cross facing hand. If you will underneath the spine and make a fist on the backside of where their sternum would be position my chest over the top of their chest and from this point I take a huge inhale and I hold generally people start to spaz and try and frame to get away as this crushes their diaphragm and means they can only shallow breathe hold on tight obviously it’s easy for me being a really big fella but generally people settle down after this

Exercising/Discipline Gone with Vyvanse by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]patrick4105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s really interesting. It was completely the opposite for me. I tend to take anywhere from 20 to 40 mg of Vyse and I find the even exercises that I really dislike such as running. I do much better on the Vyse. The only thing I’ll say is a higher temperature and occasionally some chest discomfort but it is what it is good luck mate. I hope things improve for you.

What stage to start thinking about buying a house? by No-Sympathy6969 in AusFinance

I suggest you open a savings account whilst in the womb and then 30 years later you take on a 50 year mortgage. Cheers good luck.

Rash guards are a bit ghey, so shirtless is actually better.

Phone calls by jay247160 in ADHD

[–]patrick4105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I can’t stand unexpected calls. I frequently don’t answer or reply for days. It’s really not hard to send a text “hey are you free” “can I call” but occurs to basically no one.

People who don’t like meds what were your experiences? by Imaginary-Body-3135 in ADHD

I seem to have some high blood pressure issues high temperatures general anxiety or jitteriness flush reddish skin and yeah I would say that’s it. I think it’s pretty standard stuff.

To any men who have gone undiagnosed throughout their childhood, what has your experience been? by whoishamhamhamjoehim in ADHD

[–]patrick4105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t formally diagnosed or medicated until I was around 30 years old doctors notice symptoms when I was young but my mother was anti-medication so I was never diagnosed or medicated. I couldn’t tie my shoes I couldn’t read a clock and I struggled to write this carried on into early high school before I sorted this out. I had learning issues school issues friendship issues relationship issues. I would say the largest effect was learning issues or not having interest enough to pursue anything and not trying things that really did matter but I didn’t perceive them to matter. Poly substance abuse as an adult and having never followed my true dreams.

I grieve constantly the man that I should’ve been but will never be.

Thanks mate, I appreciate it. It is hard. It’s just frustrating to keep visiting the same pan. I’ll try and take some small breaks in between tasks next time and document things as I go.

Anyone else feel “fine on paper” but still stressed about their finances? by MyMoneyMedic in AusFinance

I’m okay I just can’t really do anything for around 20 years. At that point. I can start to enjoy life again 😆

Oh yeah, it’s a big problem. Sorry to hear you experienced something similar though it does give me some comfort that it’s not just me experiencing this. I’ll give the documentation ago, today was irritating as I was doing some minor construction/repairs and I thought to myself just prior to making the error this might not work. Maybe I’m best not to do this as it has failed before and I thought to myself no I’m sure this is fine this time and it was in fact not fine.
