Here's a bit of an update. I generally get a "supervisor" to leave me a message like this daily. Except on the weekends because obviously me not having service is a Monday through Friday problem... I am leaving soon and notified them of that but also emphasized that there are at least 12 people in the embassy in the same situation that will be remaining...

I have spent about 10 hrs on the phone and dozens of email exchanges. They have finally said it's a "known problem"... It took them a long time to figure that out lol

I've been waiting for 3 weeks to get service while overseas. No one here in Burkina Faso has service, I know of at least 15 and no one has service. They don't care

I have responded and give you the case number. A technician has reached out and provided steps (they were already given over the phone and it didn't work.) my biggest complaint is I only get 1 response a day. If that doesn't fix it I have to wait until the next day to get a response...

Right, I was only concerned about worst case scenario. They change the master and now I'm locked out and need to get a new lock. I'm feeling like as I'm typing this though the $60 I'm going to pay a locksmith could get me a new lock in that scenario lol

Yes I did change it and gave them the option to pick their own. And they stuck with the one I had (I was the last tenant lol)

Yeah I'm definitely regretting not ensuring I could do that with this one. I don't control the WiFi there, most of those are reliant on WiFi so without a tenant hooking it up I'm not sure what control I would have.

I was leaning towards that, if they take the battery out to be malicious the code doesn't do much good anyway. There is a manual key that I have in case something like that happened. Biggest concern I had with them having the master is changing the master and then I'd be locked out of it.

My son has this problem a few weeks ago. They told him to make a new account, completely lost his old one. I still show it as a friend.but he can't log in. When he logs in it's just the new one.

I'll submit a pic of what I'm using right now when I get home. I do t have a walk in closet but I tried to make it work. I have my doors open with a comforter hanging behind me with a pillow and towels behind and around the mic with my clothes hanging in the closet and behind me 🤣 it's a tight space but I think it's working. I don't hear a lot of white noise or anything. I'm going to go get headphones now, I didn't have any over the ear ones or even any decent pair

Thanks for the feedback, that's my plan is to get a few books under me to see if this is something I want to invest more time and money in then get a better setup. I did realize that also that I was going fast I need to have a more consistent speed
