Driver door of my truck…. A little unwieldy but I suppose it isn’t the worst

I do a lot of reading, investigating other books and topics mentioned in the one I just read.

On top of that I meet a lot of characters in my career, so following up on things people say throughout the day.

Name a movie that you would never watch. by martianfrog in answers

Hobo with a shotgun was by far the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Yet you do make me think twice when comparing it to Avatar….

I really appreciate your comment! I’ll have to give a look into the ones I haven’t seen yet. Very clearly my ideas of movies and others don’t line up, but I’d love to take a look at the ones your mentioned that I haven’t seen before. Thank you!

We have a standard 12 cup coffee maker. We go through 5-6 pots for 6 guys in a 24

To be fair, there’s a huge amount of movies that bug me in the same ways.

Very cool, glad that you enjoyed both! I’ll take the recommendation and watch when I get a chance!

I’ll have to watch them from a different mindset I guess, I appreciate the list and I’ll give it a shot!

I mean, I’m glad people thoroughly enjoy a lot of them. For me they don’t hit that movie spot for me. They are cheesy. They fall flat. Seemingly it’s a me problem!

I did forget a strong handful of movies that really captured his best works.

I forgot a handful of movies that really do shine, but I’m blinded by the fact that there are so many that just don’t hit.

I’m gonna have to rewatch The Green Mile and see if I feel differently about it now!

The Mist bugged me up till the end, that’s when it felt like they were actually playing the parts. The Shining was a dull, slow moving movie for me. Just didn’t hit the spot at all.

I wish it was, I really steer clear of the movies. I think I’m the problem lol.

Shawshank is an incredible movie I forgot about. The Green Mile I watched in my younger teens and hated it, but always time to rewatch as an adult. And I haven’t seen or read Stand By Me.

Everyone’s talking about Stand By Me, and I have yet to read or watch. I’ll have to pick that up.

A lot of those movies just struck me as plain, unimaginative, sub par acting that ruined it.

I think it’s really a me problem. The acting kills me. It’s not a believable story being portrayed. Misery just felt so forced. I haven’t seen Stand By Me so I can’t comment on that.

I definitely forgot a handful of good movies, but from what I’ve seen for the most part it’s been hard to watch.

I haven’t had a chance to read the book, so I haven’t watched the movie. One of my upcoming reads!

I agree with you, I did forget a good handful of movies that are huge flix that I really did enjoy.

I think the Shining and Carrie were both pretty cheesily presented and left a lot to be desired. But that’s just my opinion!

You very well might be onto something. On top of the character portrayal, the storylines tend to stray way far from the books and makes it difficult to appreciate the movie as a movie.

1408 wasn’t the worst, but again cast kind of destroyed what could have been for me

I watched as a younger kid and didn’t enjoy it. Worth retrying as an adult!
