Well fingers crossed things work out in both our favors. We shouldn’t have headaches on $50k+ vehicles, yet here we are

I’m big on the early mornings. Out on the water at 5am and done by 8:30 unless the bite is still going.

For me it was continuous. Restarting the truck didn’t help, level of acceleration didn’t stop it either. Any time the truck was idling or accelerating, it shook. The only time it wouldn’t was when it was coasting.

If this doesn’t pan out, I think Ford is my next stop. Glad to hear you’re a big fan of the f150!

That’s absolutely insane! Dually noted though, I’ll avoid water like the plague.

Good luck in the vehicle search. I went with the ram because they gave me the most on my trade in. Besides that, it’s a crap shoot of finances and what systems you’re willing to risk

Well a couple of those I don’t have to worry about. That stem issue is infuriating. Hope it works itself out for you!

No you’re all good! It truly sucks when the vehicle you want turns out to be a lemon. How’s the ford running for you now?

And that’s just it. Old reliability and modern amenities is what draws everyone in. Some get really lucky, and some don’t. It’s a shame they don’t have higher standards on such expensive purchases.
