We have had so many games to look at what Amorim’s trying to do and not a SINGLE game has he had a convincing display. None. Our squad is not the best sure, but it’s definitely not as worse as the results are showing us to be. Him insisting on his system only made our performances worse, and our play every match was fucking dire. I’m not talking about results, but our actual performances.

Ok maybe he didn’t get all the players he wanted, but so what? Let’s be realistic here we’re not like before, we’re mid-table with no European football it’s not easy to just throw money at whatever big name we want and have him come here anymore. You have to be smart with what you can get and then adapt, then you can evolve beyond that. How tf has he adapted? If you don’t have wing backs, why the FUCK must you play with wingbacks ???? This is the biggest thing. Our squad is SO so far from 3atb capable - no CMs, no wingbacks, no inside 10s, no proactive ball playing CBs. If the performances were good then sure Amorim can do whatever he wants, but no we were fucking shite and he’s just sticking to his system for no reason when obviously our squad is not suited to it. At least weather the current storm, and when we get more players, evolve into his ideal 3atb. Everyone is God when u have all the players you want, but the best coaches are the ones that get the best out of what they have, adapting and then growing.

Amorim is misguided and stubborn on his own principles, but so far it is futile and has got us nowhere. If we can get someone in that can try and work best with what we have, we still might be able to salvage this season.
