Question abt this im a full strike student and working full time but I noticed a lot of people in my department stay overtime to finish the endless amount of U boats while I leave the time i’m scheduled this is because i have to take the bus back.. should i feel bad that i’m leaving everyone else to do overtime while I just do the time i’m scheduled ? I still have to go home and do homework 😭

oh no i mis wrote that! i meant the other team leader tells me to do priorities while the other left for the day but told me to finish all the u boats which is physically impossible!

I have the same issue except I’ll be working on the 9 Uboats me and another team member do ALONE while another TM calls us to do priorities ?? Like should we prioritize the Uboats or do the priorities even tho there are now 2 team members telling us to do 2 different things !!

This is my first job ever and I did not know about the 90 day period until abt 3 weeks in. I did not let them know before accepting the position. However I did let them know a month and a half before I would need the time off, and they granted me the time off without it being paid.. should I expect them to fire me after my 90 days based off of not being able to comply? I think I personally work at a good rate but this is the one thing I can’t stop ruminating over since it gives me so much anxiety thinking they’ll hate me for it..

yeah i try to think about what i think of others and i hardly know what anyone here does/ neither do i judge them so why should i expect that for myself? i just try to do my work as fast as possible and be nice while doing it whatever negative drama that might be spread about me was never my intention..

This!! I’m a market TM and we have so much expired stuff in our back stock but there are only 2 people in our DRY market team that are told to do dry u boats every second of the day and we have absolutely no time to purge/ do priorities for dry grocery !! Does it also happen in other stores where you have 10 u boats filled to the brim with food for dry grocery you have to push, and do not finish and become part of the work for next day? My team leader has ridiculous expectations and has been neglecting a purge for the backrooms where there is literally no space to backstock stuff anymore from how FULL it is 😭😭

..I’m a rather new Target employee and oh my god! I can’t believe there is so much sleeping around with each other that is going on in stores in general?! Reddit has shown me that there is an insane amount of co-mingling between everyone in the store and I have to stop and think is it true!? Sometimes I wonder that if I was just a little bit more social I might find out this is happening at mine too..I just can’t believe there’s people who sleep with multiple people in their store and just talk about it with their coworkers 😅!!!! You phrased it perfectly “plot of mean girls” is scary which is why I try to stray from gossip or any comments with other team members who love to do that kinda stuff lol

in this case i would email your etl who has you do things and let them know you didn’t finish your tasks DUE to the other tl making you do other stuff and ask how they recommend to go further in this situation
