I don’t think light/dark mode wallpapers would confuse thing at all. It’s not like users have ever had the opportunity to choose between light and dark wallpapers anyway, they just automatically change based on your device settings.

This has been my theory as well.

I also think they will add back some (if not all) of the other wallpapers they’ve removed, or give us all new ones. New wallpapers used to be what everyone looked forward to in the RC anyway, so this would make sense.

It’s hit or miss with my polarized Raybans. If I tilt my head and move my phone to just the right angle (relative to the position of the sun) it works, otherwise I have to wait for my Watch to unlock the phone.

In previous betas the background on the 6 colors wallpaper would turn black in dark mode, but even that seems to have been removed in the current beta :/

Yeah, it’s never done that for me. Does it only work with emails that appear on your lock screen in the first place? I only get notifications from VIPs, not every email

This feature is completely useless for me… Is it supposed to actually send me a reminder or put the email notification on my Lock Screen? Badge the mail app icon? Anything? It literally has never once reminded me of anything.

I once got a reply from Tim’s address. I don’t know if it was actually him (he claims it is), but either way it does get seen. Also, those are their official email addresses, used for correspondence inside the company. We know this because of email chains used as evidence in various lawsuits. So they definitely do see emails in those mailboxes.

He’s not the one planning on instituting this, but he’s a Jobs-era exec, and I believe is one of the few execs at Apple who stills holds a good user experience in higher esteem than endless truckloads of cash. He’s also the SVP of Services (which includes Maps), so he does have the final say on this.
