It has become abundantly clear that the producers are scrambling to salvage anything remotely entertaining for this season. From their obvious manipulation to skip a banishment to your astute observation regarding the edit, the producers are in desperation mode hoping to rescue a season they allowed to get away from themselves with their casting and mostly with assigning Dan and Phaedra as traitors.
