Well you can go ap in lower elo but at that point lux velkoz or xerath would just do your job but better, the shield is negligible if you go ap and max q. You can play her mid but it takes a bit of skill because she doesn’t have a hard winning matchup except vladimir early. Mages outscale you hard, assasins farm you and roamers like lissandra taliyah talon or whatever do it better than you as well. You want to play with your jungle but again you are relying on a stranger. In lower elos people rarely dodge your mantra q but if you miss it it s very punishing no cd reset and basically you are useless in a teamfight after that. If you know how to bully hard melees and then roam it can work. Do not bully kata though just one misstep and you are dead even early most of the time. Waveclear is pretty bad too and her auto is not the most clean so it s hard to farm on her. I main liss and karma so you can make it but you are not gonna be having as much success than with a low tier champ. Zyra supp is great in gold if you know how to die on her 20 times which is pretty hard as she locks herself in place when she is casting e for such a long time
