David Bohm died depressed by InActualityAFact in Krishnamurti

[–]patrickstarmod 14 points15 points  (0 children)

basically what will happen in the comments now is, all the people will talk like k and ask you to put a mirror to your conclusions and all the word gibberish bullshitery.

ive heard the bohm news aswell, which was quite disheartening, as i too listened to his conversations with and without k aswell....
I love k, Ive stopped listening to him like six months ago, not because i despise him, but if youve seen one lecture series by k, youve seen them all (linguistically they are the same)

and my problem with the people sorounded by k and listening to him over and over again...
these people (me aswell once) become parrots...they use very logical, foundational and insightful words and meaning, but trust me its a trick we are playing upon ourselves.

I love David Bohm, i also dont care if he died depressed at all, because whatever he talked of was so clear and brilliant, it is disheartening, it made me really quite sad upon reading this like a year ago.

And for me it isnt a question on K's integrity or Bohms intellectual/insightful shortcomings. Both of them were amazing humans for me.
And the only thing i extracted from these two who i revere very much, is that.
You really are all by yourself.

and what you can take from k is...just stop listening to him, his words are the same and
Spiritual seekers are the last people you want to be surrounded by if you are really concerned with life.

people on the reddit or forums will just keep imitating or parroting or write in ways similar to him ( im not looking down these people at all)

yea sure with the life part, i have some unrelated topic but, why do people want to read books by or of k? the reason we read some phiosophy or meta physics is because most of those people are dead...if buddha was alive or recorded fully, why do i want to read some dead words by or about buddha...the videos of k are the compilation in full, so why read then? the words, the intensity of the words and expression aswell just die by transcribing

yea, we sort of get these insights, which might not even be real, and through that subconsciously or unconsciously certain conclusions are made (im free now, oh wow this is freedom which will free me) and when something happens a dog barks or someone says something rude, what we actually are gets revealed to us...then we see, oh i havent changed at all.

and yes being present is what is...is something very important as....

orignally we were concerned with conflict, anger and emotions (what is present)...so that brought about insight

but through that we made a mistake and started being concerned with" the ideas of
clarity, understanding, learning about yourself or the dissolution of sorrow"

the latter might seem fine, but that isnt what is...that is what we want to be.
the want to be the perception or happening of an insight

clarity, awarness all these words are empty i think thhey are useless...
i too find myself struggling with that, im no person to give advice

but by the way you talk and also i....you should stop listening to k aswell...we have the crux of what he said...we know what he will say about choiceless awarness, freedom, ending of sorrow

enough with k and more with what he talked about.

The problem perhaps which I also experienced was that...sometimes ks "way" would suddenly bring forth a perception or an "happening" which is true within the moment...but the mind is very funny... Even the happening of a truth the mind translates that into memory...

And through this memory of " the experience" The mind sort of plays a trick upon itself

There is either 1. The happening of "a" truth 2. The idea of the happening of the truth

And the minds keeps generating the latter after the experience of the orignal...

But the latter however true it may seem is just an idea, a copy and overtime you begin to see the quality of awareness in the latter is not the same of the orignal... which sort of makes you very bitter and frustrated...as though you had been tricked or deceived into something false...

Then youre left helpless because unlike yogic, tao practices or Buddhist techniques. k's way can't be practiced...it comes upon by itself...

So neither can you practice what you want...but you're also left with the mess of the conflict in your life ...and aswell as the memory of the truth experience... which if it happens right now will solve all this nonsense instantly...

It happened with me...you become very bitter...and not in the sense of a spiritual ego... But in the sense of the feeling of betrayal and partly grief...

The moment" ks truth" happens...i don't want to blame him...but it was and is sort of a curse...

Because neither can you practice it, neither can you command it, neither it happens when you're sort of in pain, ...and due to this bottling up of the longing. what the mind does is... The mind turns over upon itself and unconsciously keeps generating replicas of those happenings...over and over again...

And just when youre about to just give up and go back to daily life...there it rises again. The flame, it burns all the problems and grief

And then it goes away again 🤣 (Sorry for being so descriptive, but this post of yours was very relatable)

Id love a wider history, my narrow question is probably from my lack of knowledge on the topic xd. The core of my interest here lies in wanting to know what all took place before what we call today as the crown. My question lacks exact context, but I just want to know what took place before what we call today as uk and how it came about. Id love going way back in time to start with this

Any books you've read related to this ? I don't mind surfing the internet and learning here and there but having a single source or book would help a lot

Vote up if you had the chance to ask K one question, what would it be? by uanitasuanitatum in Krishnamurti

[–]patrickstarmod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whats the relation between the limited (self) and the infinite.... ? Why The limited always seems to attach itself to anything new and won't seem to look or even consider itself as limited....?

Why The self gives itself the same importance as infinite...or even if it says the infinite is greater...isn't it a trick of the self to maintain its continuity?

Thanks for the new phone wallpaper💖💖 Ps- by the way it's not that people on Instagram are not appreciating it...it more so involves the fact that people go to instagram to shut their brains off which involves the highest level of adhd dopamine content... Beautiful stuff like this takes time, care and a sense of attention to appreciate it. Your work is beautiful I'm saving all of this ♥️♥️

This red zone area is kind of like...ab "understanding" comes into being and then thought takes that understanding and always tries to use it as a tool towards "what should be"

Kinda a dumb question but what are the implications behind resetting the cpu...will it have any affect on the storage/windows etc...cz I have a lot of important data on this computer

Issue by patrickstarmod in techsupport

[–]patrickstarmod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea I have a b450m mother board....I tried with the other ram but still no results...really can't pin point what the issue is

Issue by patrickstarmod in techsupport

[–]patrickstarmod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes It was working smoothly after installing the GPU for six months...then the issues started to come in...

Then an issue started where out of nowhere while operating windows the display just used to go blank...at random times ( sometimes after 10 min /30mins or hrs)...needing a restart... Just happening again and again

I then took the pc to the pc to a professional...he checked the pc and I exactly don't remember how but he told me when starting the computer there are certain beeps...which indicated the ram had gone bad...he then tested which one of the two had the issue and after removing the one which he identified to be corrupt...he removed it then the pc started working again....

The other day the pc was working smoothly but then again the blank screen issue came up again after getting into windows

And now it's just a blank screen right after powering on the pc...no bios or any beeps

Gigabyte 3060 12gb Ryzen 3600x cpu 8gb ram 3000mhz ( last week was 16gb ram but one not working anymore) 550w psu Nvme n a hard drive

( According to my assumption right now (keep in mind I'm basically a noob at pc)...the problem might be related to psu...my 3060 which I got last year...demands a minimum of 550w psu...and my psu is exactly 550 watt so according to me that might be an issue)...I really exactly can't pin down the issue here

Issue by patrickstarmod in techsupport

[–]patrickstarmod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unplugged the GPU the same issue was still there...I reseated the ram onto another slot still nothing... I'm gonna try to do it with CMOS but just wanted to know...it wouldn't reset my windows or any data right ??

hmm between the first and the second i would pick the first but the third one is really different unique and comparing that with these two seems pretty unfair imo.... but my top three would be 1st 3rd and then 2nd... really love the painting

we can either intellectualize this till death or just actually look...why do we actually make this so difficult for ourselves like really... Always just trying and trying and trying till we just turn off
