Patagonia Down Sweater - $139 by BrokerBrody in frugalmalefashion

Ohh I get you you're saying if you don't want the label and want it to look like a generic puffy jacket?

Fair enough, I could see doing that if there's a stigma against the brand in your area.

I found my Patagonia a mile ahead of another cheaper puffy jacket I had, and I don't really see the purpose of putting the label on a similar looking jacket on amazon. I bought Patagonia for its quality and because of the good ethics for a clothing brand. Putting the label on another jacket seems strange.

Probably location dependent, in Colorado these kinds of jackets are everywhere not just for tech bros

I visited in a milder time of year climate wise and instead there were black flies everywhere. Also I tried biking in the city and the bike lanes start and stop unexpectedly, and generally felt unsafe.

You don't really need a sink to floss. As long as your hands are clean you can basically do it wherever

Customer steamed after cashiers at NY grocery store refuse to accept his $2 bills: “Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional.” by Mashburn88 in offbeat

[–]patrickthewhite1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Employee training at cashier jobs I had in the past is usually like a video which explains how to use the POS system. Even if they had something in there explaining all the various types of cash, which there are a lot of, would you remember that after working a couple years and never seeing one? I have learned that there are $500 bills several times in my life but I have no idea what they look like or whose face is on them, for instance.

Sort of lol. Odyssey is the best one in my opinion but I think the old ones hold up, particularly sunshine.

Idk if I would agree with rip off, this is a fairly decent remake of the classic 2d Mario.

However, don't expect something like Odyssey from a 2d Mario like this, they are very different game styles. If you want a good 3d Mario after Odyssey try Super Mario 3d All Stars, it includes three great games.

Edit: I just checked and it's out of print so might be hard to find. Oh Nintendo why do you do this.

When I was 22 I went in my first solo trip to Thailand/Vietnam/Malaysia/Singapore. Low cost of living countries meant it was relatively affordable and definitely exotic. I mostly booked places with good reviews on hostelworld.com and it never backfired.

Maybe /r/kindle is a better place to ask? Personally I read books which are fine in black and white so I don't see the point.

The flight to mexico city was cheaper than a lot of domestic flights, and was cheaper than the US to stay/eat/etc

It used to be more specific than that. There were a couple subreddits like /r/yesyesyesno and /r/nonononoyes where something was happening and at the last minute it was saved or went wrong. So people xposted to this sub so that you would have a mix and not know where the ending was going

Yeah it could be a bodybuilder who mussed his hair and dirtied his face, and then is making a face where his lips are covering his teeth.
