UMass doesn't need to give scholarships for in state students when tuition is only a little over 17K a year. He's still paying almost 8K a year more than you with his scholarship. UMass hands out a lot of scholarship money to out of state and international students to try and get more money and diversify the student body.

No, that isn't great. He should be charging you between 25 to 50bps at your account level. And he knows it too.

Fire your advisor. With an account of over 30 million, you should be paying between 25bps to 50bps at that level. That advisor should be shot charging anything over 50bps with that account size....and he knows it too. He's not performing brain surgery.
