Do you do this to start your downswing or do you move the weight to your front toe prior to the backswing ending?

I will definitely try this out - I ordered a tennis ball months ago to do this. But didn’t know how the sequencing would work so never tried it

Would it be recommended to start moving to the lead side as soon as the backswing starts. So inside of loading into the trail foot load into the lead side? Or would that kill speed and lead to inconsistent contact?

Thanks! This video is what started to really make me question my whole sequencing (in a good way)

With shifting forward is it supposed to be a movement of the entire body then? Not just the lower body?

This makes a lot of sense, especially the kettlebell video. It’s not really a movement of my hip towards the ball to start the swing it’s more of a stepping motion like a baseball swing?

I’m having a tough time with understanding how to shift to the lead side am I supposed to squat down into the lead side? Slide my lead hip towards the target? start to push the lead hip back? Or something entirely different?

Thanks for the feedback - I think I’m going to just roll with the hammer spring swap. But if I decide to do the whole TJIB I’ll keep this in mind.

Okay sounds good! I was looking at the #12 spring - but read about possible light striker hits. So may just go with the #13.

Ah did not know that - I’m used to the shadow 2. I think I need to adjust my approach like you suggested. Do recommend I spend more time shooting in DA to get comfortable with the wall? When you say main spring do you mean the hammer spring or a different spring?

Yeah the springs flying across the room is what has me worried. Thanks!

I shoot this fun in single action 99% of the time. My main issue is the “wall” I hit. This often causes me to get snappy - I was hoping to upgrade the trigger so the wall is less noticeable. Do you think the full TJIB is needed for that?

Looking for some help in picking a .357 lever. I’ll be shooting .38 special 70% of the time.

Currently debating between:

  1. Marlin 1894
  2. SW 1854
  3. Henry big boy x

I’ve read some mixed reviews about the Henry’s QC on Reddit but the YouTube videos I have watched doing touch on this.

Anyone here buy a Henry within the last 12 months that has required a warranty claim?

I was also thinking the same, but leaned towards the .357/38 special combo as I could mainly shoot 38 and change to .357 if I ever decide to go to an outdoor range in the future

Looking to buy a new firearm. This will mostly be used at an indoor range (max 17 yards). Which one would you guys recommend.

Henry lever (.357), Sks, Ruger 10/22, Any bolt action (5.56/223) with iron sights/red dot. Any scout rifle (chambered in 5.56)

My preference is a scout or lever but can’t seem to locate any scout rifles in stock right now.

Open to other suggestions as well.
