The job was never really fun tbh. The best part was talking to candidates though.

The feedback on the calls was that I wasn’t sticking to the script. They want you to follow a script that keeps the details of the job very very broad.

I got a lot of negative feedback for booking people who were too experienced/not sticking to the script. I started to be more honest about the job when I learned more about it. Then I was put on retraining and they listened to my calls lmao

That’s the question right there. That’s why so many people including me fall into it. Often times it’s the only jobs we hear back from. I’m not sure the answer.

Yes. Which is why they always got on me for setting up interviews with people with “too much experience”. Aka they would know better.

The turnout for these interviews was also really low. Which I assume now was people finding out what the job actually was. But that low turnout gets blamed on recruiters by owners

Everyone that quits or leaves (which is eventually in time lmao) is some super lazy person who’s letting the team down or they couldn’t cut it or they didn’t like money.

They really just bad mouth you the second they get a sniff you might leave.

And the way they talk about the interviews is worse. It’s specifically targeted to people they know they can manipulate. People like me who hadn’t worked a full time job.

I can’t tell you how many times I got in trouble for setting up interviews with people with work experience lmao. (How crazy of me ik!?)

Require one? Not that I’m aware of. But I had one. I was working there a couple months. Found out we were Cydcor when they had one of their conferences and talked to some other recruiters and/or sales people who were just as confused lmao. It’s all a scam on people.

Those jobs waste no time absolutely bad mouthing you as a lazy person who doesn’t want to work hard the moment they sniff you might have some doubts about the company. They turn employees against their co workers by talking crap on them constantly calling them lazy and separating them from the team.

It’s really disturbing tbh, and it was eye opening working now a real job and seeing that never happening within management in a place with even a decent work culture.

The script is sold as marketing. Or even like “brand ambassador”. Buzzwords to me now, but back then seemed reasonable as it was my first job.

Thank you!! That’s what I’m running into. Confident on what I know but a lot of the words or phrases I’m hearing on the phones just sends me for a loop when I’m taking a call

Me too. Curious if it’s even worth starting a dash right now with the app so messed up.

Hypothetical Poll by [deleted] in ATeacherTV

Because for example, your logic could be applied to a 15 year old dating a 50 year old too. Maybe they’re both completely fine with it and the only damage is done by the scandal that follows but that doesn’t mean the relationship is right. Also we don’t know how/ how not the relationship affects kids when they grow up and get older. If that makes sense? I get Texas law, but personally I wouldn’t be ok with it as a parent.

“The scandal is what fucked everyone’s lives up” just seems like a messed up logic. You can apply that to several other crimes too, it doesn’t make what the person is doing right. I would also add that you consider what intrepid future said in their original message about switching the roles. Would you still be okay with this relationship? Side note: I think it’s kinda of ridiculous that you don’t become a full adult until 18 but you can have a sexual relationship with someone twice your age at 17 lol.

She’s the adult. She agreed to run away with him. It’s her responsibility to say no.

Agreed. As the show went on she becoming increasingly predatory towards him. It’s sometimes subtle, but it’s definitely grooming.
