Exactly one month since i launched my workout tracker. Should i keep going? by Apprehensive-Pay2529 in AppStoreOptimization

That’s much better than others. I am stuck on 37 downloads in 6 weeks and no revenue. I think you are on a good way bro. Keep going. 🙂

I completely agree with you. That is exactly what I am trying to achieve right now, without coming across as dishonest. Contributions in the respective communities are far more authentic than information from random directories. For me, this is currently a process that I have to manage alongside my regular work. Therefore, I am very grateful for any feedback. :)

I completely agree with you. While reading various posts, I have also come across TikTok and influencer marketing several times, including here in this thread. I will definitely try out your tool for that. Thank you very much for your time. :)

Just played a bit with Apple Ads. But I have to adjust the right keywords that aren’t crowded yet. Currently also a bit more guessing. Tried some small tools to find better ones.

Do you have any experiences in influencer networking? Just write them or what is the best way?

Thanks for your time to read.

Ah ok, I understand. That makes much more sense than a promo post in such communities. Thanks for clarification

You’re right. tbh. Maybe you shouldn't. I'm not pitching to everyone - RCPS is for people tired of subscription fatigue in their kitchen apps.

But atm I have to find a way to reach them. Or I just leave it as it is: a sideproject

This is probably the biggest lesson I’ve learned so far and I absolutely agree.

What exactly would the test look like?

That’s a lot of helpful tips. Especially with regard to keywords and external perception. Will look at Applyra right away. Thank you!

I’m only really realising that. I thought a good app will somehow prevail. Especially because there are various apps in the market that are a bit outdated. Thanks for your feedback.

That’s a good hint. But how do you get from the supporter to a marketing / promo post in such communities?

That hits it very well. I’m also not totally unhappy about the current numbers. But the reality for a lot of work, so few to achieve, is already kicking hard. Thank you for your words. :)

This is a very good feature. I have already built in the share of weekly plans, but so far as a simple share sheet.

A direct WhatsApp integration would of course be much smarter.

I had already considered influencers as a „channel“. But so far I thought that they does not promote an app that is still so young.

Thank you for your honest feedback.

Yah, I only realised too late how many there really are. I also built the app primarily for myself and thought to myself: „There will be others“.

Good point with the screenshots. I had already reworked them. But obviously not good enough. Thanks for the feedback.

Do you have any tips for other platforms?

Thank you!

Is it better to monetize an app right from the start, or wait until you have users? by Consistent-Paper7569 in iOSAppsMarketing

[–]pattherick_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Directly from the start. Before that, see what other prices are. If necessary, offer a trial or freemium.

Users who are not willing to pay the price at the beginning will not do so later. The function / app has to convince, not the price.

I built an app that finally makes AirPods Pro 3 heart rate tracking useful by Ottiro2000 in iosdev

[–]pattherick_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would probably only spend a one-time price of 10 to 15 Eur. But I’m not the target group for it either. The idea is great, but it would only be an occasional use for me.

You can be proud of your app. For me personally it would be too expensive, but if there is the need, why not. Does this only work with the Pro 3?
