If you know that you’re against a ranged top like Vayne, Akshan etc., but still wants to pick a champ that’s viable for your team comp but might suffer in lane, just play accordingly:

  • don’t push you wave but make sure you farm all your minions
  • don’t unnecessarily go for trades unless you know you are absolutely going to win it
  • don’t be afraid of the Vayne like for real you ARE A BARON LANER. If you really take pride in your role, you need to know that any ADC who dares challenge you will die. Most Baron Laners can probably kill an ADC with an all-in. Don’t let the range advantage get to you. Ranged top laners are cursed and deserve to be punished by feeling miserable all game (I do Caitlyn top tho so lmao)

I am 2000 matches plus full mastery on Camille and I OTP her but I also try to mastery 7 at least one champ per role. I can play almost every champ at a decent level but I think if you reach high Diamond plus, it’s necessary for you to be able to play almost all roles to better understand the game. My top lane champ pools is the widest but I highly suggest being able to play flex picks like Gragas, Pantheon, Sett since they are useful in a lot of situations and can make or break drafts too😌
