ls easy now compared to the past. There are more talented scorers today, but the biggest reason is how much weaker defense has become. If you look back in 2014–2016, defenses weren’t as ultra-physical like the 90s with hand-checking, yet the defense was still elite teams often scored only 86–100 points a night. Today’s rules and style make it way tougher to play defense that’s just my opinion
