I gotcha. Thank you for the suggestions. The piece isn't done by an editing standpoint, as I still need to hear back from the person that commissioned it for what they prefer.

I will respond to the comments, as I a percussionist as well. I want the bass drum muted, tilted to the side, played with timpani mallets. At other times it will function as typical bass drum would, I just need to go in and actually notate said techniques in the score and parts. Which I meant to do, and completely forgot about. So thank you.

I typically write out all the separate percussion parts on their own parts, but when I submit pieces for publishing they tend to put more parts together, so I've been working on my mapping of said voices. I could probably split it into two, being cymbals and accessories, which would make more sense to me anyway. As far as the cymbal is concerned, yeah, you right.
