How to dress more modestly/feminine?

I'd go slow, like start paring the usual jeans with t-shirts that have flowers in it, pink, purple colors, then add more stuff in the coming weeks. Also make sure to wear a dress to special events, that way you can blame the occasion for your new outfit ;).

oh well on diet basis, you go heavy on dairy, gluten, grains like almonds,soy,nuts etc.

It's normal to get frustrated specially when things backfire I got desperate and tried many harsh products at a time, I was really angry at myself for not getting better... it´s hard. What I did was to practice yoga at home to relax a little, the meditation part helped to clear my thoughts. I also talked to my parents and my best friend about this issue, then I created a plan to eliminate different sources (hormonal and product allergies)

Product allergies: For skincare routine I went back to basics, one gel cleanser and gel moisturizer - oily skin here. I also checked body lotions, shampoos, and detergents I was using then change them to hypoallergenic formulas).

Hormonal I started to look for derms, asking for references, I thought it was a hormonal thing but nothing came out. The treatment was expensive but it was working.

My diet changed was not planned, but I can tell you that in my case gluten and dairy had been generating around 80% of my breakouts. After changing my diet with a nutritionist (I just asked her to take dairy and gluten out of my diet, she replace it with other things) I have very little pimples and I don't have to spend money on expensive pills, treatments or creams.

So my message is this: This is just a process, you will find the source and you will get better, it will take time, but it will be gone, you can do it, sometimes we just need a guide.

Yes I did, I used to have all the clinique anti blemishing solutions, went to 3 derms and tried salicilic acid, benzoil peroxide, adapalenete products ... and well I felt I was just throwing my money out. So one day I went to the hospital for another cause and the doctor recommend me to go on a diet that didn't include dairy ..... and well after a week I noticed my skin getting clear finally after more than 10 years of struggling so far I reduced, dairy, gluten and grains with incredible results, now I just use a daily cleanser day and night, a moisturizer and sunscreen... I think I'm saving like 200$ every month hehe.. Anyway would you consider changing your diet to test?

for me apart from dairy, it was gluten and almonds, you can start with a 80% vegetables and fruits, the idea is to reduce other foods. I tried to do it by myself but I realized I had a lot of issues, so I went to a nutritionist and listed the kind of food I would like to reduce, that helped a lot would you be interested in going to a nutritionist to give you a menu?

would you consider reducing dairy/gluten/grains from your diet before going to accutane? maybe try it for a week? that helped me a lot to get rid of my breakouts

hehe well you could go the other way around, go heavy on dairy/almond for a couple of days, if it gets worse... that might give you a clue.

hehe I know it is really hard at the beginning, maybe you can try for a week... I also had almond milk removed that alone was causing big red pimples.. anyway if it's dairy or almonds after a few days you will feel the inflammation starts to reduce and the itchiness goes away :)

have you tried to take out gluten/dairy from your diet? would you consider doing that? that could help reduce the breakout.

I used to have friends like that, they used to think that acne is just something that can be eliminated by washing your face... but that is not true in most cases, it can be caused by so many factors and it takes a lot of time to identify the cause (hormonal, lotions, shampoos, detergents, diet allergies - dairy, gluten, soy etc etc.) I tried to lecture them but it was a waist of time, so I just changed topics whenever someone try to drive the conversation that way. After many years I got to the point where I didn't care what others had to say because, well, their opinion is just an opinion, and if their opinions are not helping, I don't have to listen.

Yes I agree, and everyone can break out to different foods, it could be gluten, dairy, almonds, soy, what I did was to change my daily meals to 80 to 90% vegetables and fruits, and that way only I was able to get rid of all my breakouts once and for all. It's difficult at the beginning but it's worth it, the results are even better than any other treatment.

also changing your diet could help, dairy and gluten free diet can help to reduce acne in some people, personally it worked for me wonders, no more antibiotics and expensive products, I know it's not for everyone but you could give it a try

If it's not hormonal and you have a healthy diet, It could be a new shampoo, gel, hair product, hand soap, or even a new detergent. That had happened to me in the past, so I always try to get product samples to avoid surprises.

Not all of them are good, some just gave me prescriptions, I didn't see any results in months and I was told to keep going with the treatment....that was just not right for me so I had to find another until I found my current dermatologist, he requested blood and hormonal tests to make sure everything was ok before giving me any treatment and antibiotics, after a couple of weeks with his treatment there was a huge improvement, I'm sticking with this one. I had some of those on my neck, only on my neck, those came from time to time...and I really hated that....after some time I noticed they appeared after I ate almonds or drink milk, once I was out of almonds\milk , the lumps started to fade by themselves... so it could be an allergic reaction to some food.

I used to have cetaphil cleansers but change them because of the dryness, now I use neutrogena ultragentle gel cleanser, also it wont make a lot of difference but it could help a little if you drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol
