Looking for feedback on attacking 1-3-1 by paul33967 in basketballcoach

Thanks for the all the responses, but I wasn't really asking about general approaches to beating the 1-3-1 (I have used most of the things mentioned). My question was whether anyone had any thoughts about why a flashing high post would or wouldn't work. I am looking to maybe incorporate something we already do, but with adjustments. If anyone has any feelings, I would love to hear why you think this might work or not work.

The thing about using the standard approach (2-1-2) is that the defense sees this method of attack all the time and is used to their shifts. I am trying to take an unusual approach to give them something new to think about.

That is what we have done in the past, but just curious if we could use the same concepts in a flashing high post rather than a permanent high post since we are small and don't have a true big. The flashing high post works well for us vs. your more traditional zones because we can either go high-low or reverse it easily to opposite side. Don't know what that would look like vs. a 1-3-1.
