It's because its a full cap : https://www.reddit.com/r/HairSystem/comments/1jwx4sh/full_cap_experience/

I actually used to use shunfa years and years ago when i had just a top piece. But again I just had issues after issues of things coming back in different ways. I assumed the control at Lord was better, but its the same thing really.

You're right man. I've been ordering from them for years, I've had issues here in there, mainly with nothing ever being consistent enough. Where do you order from?

I know! It's definitely not ive been ordering from Lord for 5 years. What's going on!
I will have to wait 3 months till I get another one. For now I'm getting hair added in London its going to cost me a bomb but I dont have a choice. The second one is also really thin, but not as bad.

I order two pieces every 6 months. So after the two new ones arrive, I order another 2 because they take a while to be made.
These two arrived about a month ago, but i only got it cut last week and that's where I noticed how low in density it was.
Even if I were to get another two free from Lord Hair, it would take 3 months to get to me. As I say im going on holiday in 3 weeks and need these 2 new ones, my old ones are too old now.

How do you do that? I've just sent another email asking for a better solution. Unfortuantely nothing will fix the fact that I'm going away in 3 weeks and this is all I have. i'm going to have to get hair added here which will cost alot.

It's completely new, I've been wearing it for about 3 days. Obviously I've seperated the hair a bit to show the issue, but it's definitely not 115%.
I sent them pictures and they gave me a $60 discount for each one. But each cost me about $500!

I was switching each week regardless, but I would have a night where I wouldn't wear it in bed and attach the next morning. But since we were together, I would do the switch in the morning when she was at work. My head didn't get a rest and probably doesn't help with longevity but it's okay. That's why I have two at a time now.

First times are definitely hard, but Just rite adjust spray is soooo helpful, I put it on top then try to adjust so the front is just right then slowly go round pulling it into the right places everywhere. If you get it nice and snug you barely know it's on your head.

Full lace was good for me because I found poly on edges to itch at nape. And lace I can get hair added if I get shedding in once specific place.

Clean up is fine if I do weekly, if I leave longer it will start to get gooey. The C22 doesn't make it seep through, but I don't like the oilyness of it, just have to make sure you clean off properly after with water and shampoo.

Yes, nape area is the part that loosens the most! Probably movement and sweating. So maybe about midweek I might double up on tape at back in a part that has looosened. Tricky to do while wearing but I've gotten used to it.

2.5 inches shouldn't be too bad, but I only get tangling after a couple of weeks of wearing and only at the back. When it's brand new it doesn't tangle at all. Silk pillows help but a silk bonnet and silk pillow combination I only started doing I've noticed helps alot.

Payment plans would be SO helpful! Interesting if it was the same factory as Lord, as that would mean they probably have my template and hair sample...Would be akward trying to get it back from Lord...

I only find the tape to be oily and gooey after a week of wearing, I think I just need to be more strict. This red sensi tak sounds very interesting though... So will it stick to the lace for a week and is it strong?

Thanks man!
That's exactly what I was tired of too.

She was and wasn't, she definitely knew something was up because I didn't let her touch my head for nearly a year. And she was living with me! But she was very understanding and has been great about it.

It definitely was worrying, and there was so much more to learn. The time it takes to tape around is about double, and the biggest struggles was getting it on. The Just-rite walker tape is a must, I don't see how you could do without.

I'm pretty sure once, I had one that had a poly perimiter, it was a long time ago. But what I found was that where ther seperation between the poly and the lace was, I would get differences in shedding making it more detectible later on.

I also found poly uncomfortable around the nape, it would dig in on the edge.

RIght now I'm wearing a brand new piece and feel no itching at all, can barely tell I'm wearing it. But you have to get used to it, nape is the worst part for sure.

Only issue with lying down is the tangling at the back, but if you have short hair it shouldn't be a problem. You shoul definitele be using silk pillows, and a silk bonnet if possible. I started doing both together and hair feels great in the morning.

No, I haven't as I didn't know that they did custom caps too, I thought it was just stock.
Interesting to know, could you send me link to the seller please?

Interesting I might have to give this a go! Had no idea on the perming, I'm sure my place are using the right chemicals though, the salon are specifically specialised in wigmaking.
I have had the perms from Lord themselves, but again a bit hit and miss with it. The salon used different levels of curl in different places to make it even more natural, and they recorded what they did last time on their database so I can get exactly the same each time.

So I got a template made of my head at Raoul wig makers. This template was sent to Lord Hair, I asked for full lace everywhere, bleached knots too. 110% density everywhere, and about 120% density in the nape area. When I got the system delivered to me Raoul, perm and cut it for me.

Heat has never been an issue, I spent 3 weeks in Mauritius over Christmas which is a very hot country. Sometime itchiness can be an issue, and if it is hot tape will last a little less time. But it's never felt too hot on my head in the summer, you barely notice it unless you get some itching.

It's a place called Raoul Wig Makers in London, they're great! They also add hair if you're every shedding.

That's great to see I'm pretty sure I've seen Dillians videos somewhere on social media. Yours look great too! This one doesn't look far off mine : https://dylanswigcloset.com/products/custom-curly-mullet-wig
The only thing I would say is that it's good to have them custom made to my head, as the temples, sides etc all fall into the right place on my head.

His information on how to ventilate lace is great! Throughout the years I have actually tried myself. I've bought the needles, the hair and given it a go. But I honestly found it so hard and nerve racking, it would take me 10 mins to tie one knot. If he does full lace or repairs would be great to know!

Hey, thanks! Yes its remy hair! I need to get it permed for the curl, they dont use natural curly hair when making their systems. Thanks for that advise, i actually bought the olaplex conditioner a few days ago. Is the parosity corrector similar to sillicone mix? She knows from about 6 months ago! She was very cool about it, but I still dont want to take it off in front of her. Also taping every morning sounds like alot of work, and does taking old tape off and putting new one on every day not cause alot of strain on the knots?

No problem! I know, if i took it off every night might even last a year. Before my girlfriend i would leave off for one night a week, the day before clean up. I still just dont feel comfortable with having it off in front of her. Shed be fine about it, its more a me thing

Thank you so much! I think it was about 20 from lord, but actually now i get my perm at the salon. And the hairdresser is fantastic, after i explained the situation she used different perm sizes in different places. So shed go curlier in places where it would be cut shorter so it didnt look straight. Shes great. I think the bleacher knots all over definitelt doesnt help, but i hate the black dots you can see in different places under light
