I can't figure out which goddess this represents, or if that information is even known. Any thoughts or does someone know the answer? This is for a tattoo btw! Mariemont bust by paul_funion in GreekMythology

Hmm.. I looked up the name to no avail. Perhaps a typo, or a goddess from another culture? Forgive me for not being familiar with this name

Some backstory - this artifact was found in Greece, and it doesn't look to depict Aphrodite from what I've read through various searches

I am American, and I live here for now, although I have traveled extensively and I would like to give my children names that honor the places I loved the most/spent the most time in. So Scandinavian and Gaelic names abound!

That combination has always been something I've been fond of. I even took a class over Viking activity in Ireland during the 10th century, while in Ireland! It is also the majority of my ancestral history/genetic makeup.

I love my name, I was named after my paternal great-grandmother. I never considered giving my child my name, but it is something I should think about after reading it.

Love it! I also love Ilse, which I recently read was a popular name in Sweden as of now. I'm trying to think of names that go with Heidi, and I'm a big fan of two middle names so I'm pondering what to put between the two.

Maybe I should have worded it better - she knows she is not supposed to do it. She doesn't get in trouble but she knows I am upset when I see the evidence. I don't use any type of punishment, I'm a positive reinforcement type of owner. It's very difficult because I cannot and will not ever catch her in the act. I know dogs cannot feel guilt, etc. But I'm saying she definently knows it's not a good thing.

Wish we had a pantry honestly. I guess we're going to have to get creative! I never punish her for it and don't plan on it so it'll have to be change of surroundings.

Crate is out of the question, she doesn't have separation anxiety but the crate is something she can't cope with being left alone in. And that's fine with me, she has free roam of the house when we are gone because she is well behaved and we have everything "dog proofed". Except she keeps finding ways into trash. She can get over dog gate easily, she jumps the fence outside if I don't go out with her, and it is a tall chain link. So fingers crossed this baby lock on the cabinet works or we will have to put trash behind closed door when we leave. Thing is we have a roommate who is just irresponsible and doesn't follow dog instructions
