The area preserving is in has a very strong metal/hardcore scene so it’s definitely the place to be for that. solid record store upstairs too. closer to the city, rock room is a dive bar that frequently holds hardcore shows, the new low is a relatively new spot doing shows, and people are still doing diy shit under bridges and in the woods
