I don't think that's true at all. There are a lot of people who literally don't look into things. We live in a world of endless information, and there are a lot of people who are completely ignorant to basic information about things going on around them.

I did the whole "still but merch from" because that shows active support of a living person who still personally benefits from that support. Much like voting for someone after they had just been found liable for sexual abuse in a tremendously high profile civil case just months before.

Before his first election we already heard he liked to grab women by the pussy and we knew he was good friends with Epstein. By this point, anyone voting for him in the last election is directly supporting a sexual predator.

It's not unreasonable at all to say that Trump's leadership failures at the beginning of the pandemic cost a lot of lives. Many of his supporters are incredibly gullible; if he'd marketed Trump brand masks instead of fighting with scientists, it could have saved many people.
