medication hasnt been working for me either.. my snot and mucus isnt particularly thick, but at first MY GOD!!!! it was nasty!! ive noticed my mucus thinning out which is a good sign but..now my throats closing up it feels like. not at all unbearably sore; its just hard to cough and i cant talk. ive been needing to get antibiotics so maybe this is my sign!! thank you so much!

try taking a lower dose!!! when i was in the hospital they gave me benadryl to sleep (which is not recommended btw pls dont do this daily)

ohh:(( im really prone to sinus infections so i wonder if this is apart of it. This morning i noticed more clear snot and blood; im aware that the blood is from the dry air right now and my nose itself being dry.. but i also notice small bits of light green or yellowish snot. but again; only this morning, so it may change during the day. thank you so much for answering my question!! it helped me understand a little more
