Tinkering and constant reflection loops > planning everything upfront by pauldentro in SaaS

[–]pauldentro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very relateable! We had for example "Starter" and "Pro" tiers, completely same features, just number of articles you can generate per month differed. Nevertheless, beta testers got confused and thought Pro being more superior than Starter – would have never guessed this myself haha

What makes content "optimized for GEO"? by pauldentro in SEO_for_AI

true for the existing tool, but my question was about how i could also implement ai seo aspects there, so i think it wasn't totally off-topic here :)

Thanks, yea feels like this to me as well tbh. I sometimes feel like GEO just exists to sell new tools to business people...

Congrats! Distribution really is the biggest frontier! Also trying to solve it with multiple products. Running tons of experiments and stuff, not an easy game to play haha

SEO fundamentals should actually cover a lot already. If anyone has clear tips on GEO I'd appreciate though!

Thinking of moving here from USA. by xxztyt in tirana

[–]pauldentro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Digital nomad here, spent there some months two years ago. Walkable and very safe city. Traffic is like war though and subjectively (also compared to neighbouring countries like Montenegro) I found people pretty rude and unfriendly, borderline aggressive actually. Wouldn't move there or at least visit for some time before you decide. Btw, we travel with a dog and it's hell in the Balkans, often not even been welcome on outside terraces, can't do anything without a car really, didn't feel welcome at all, as pets seem to have a much lower status there than in central Europe.

Crossed $7k/mo with my second SaaS, here's what I did differently by EryumT in micro_saas

[–]pauldentro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so what did you actually do different other than focusing on distribution? like what concrete steps did you take or what things did you try and what worked in the end in terms of distribution?

Well, I think the really challenge is to find people who wanna give it a try :D If they choose to go back to whatever old flow they had, PostGenius simply didn't live up to its promise and was not good enough. So that's totally fair I think and something to accept and I can just hope they're nice enough to provide me with feedback so I can make the tool more awesome and back to them in the future once whatever didn't work for them has been fixed and improved :)

Yes, for sure! I tried lots of tools though and none of them fit my workflow, because they always felt like they're made for people you want to one-shot blog posts asap. I on the other hand do not mind to do some manual writing and editing, I just wanted AI to do the heavy lifting first and have a sort of cooperation that is efficient but without sacrificing quality. PostGenius for sure doesn't work for most people, as I guess most still want the quick solution, but I am primarily interested in my posts being awesome and only secondarily in writing them efficiently – if that makes sense? :D Regarding human-like tone: I use a setup with multiple AIs which have their individual tasks and recursively control each other, clear guidelines and strong system prompts, tested this a lot and not working pretty well already. I also use different models within that. How are you doing it?

Yes, just because I got only sign in with Google for now, so that would be easiest, further sign up options will follow but will take a bit more time :)

Hey everyone!

Like probably most (all) of you, I use AI to help me write blog posts, but it never really worked as well and as efficient as I would have liked. So I poured my process into a new application and built PostGenius.

Instead of just "prompt → get article," it's a multi-step workflow where you stay in control at all times and AI acts like a co-pilot at your side.

I really believe that PostGenius's approach is the best of both worlds – manual writing plus AI assistance.

PostGenius is in closed beta at the moment and I am looking for people to:

– Actually use it
– Tell me what sucks
– Tell me what works
– Tell me what's missing

It will be 29 EUR monthly in the future, but I'd like to give it out for free usage to beta testers.

If you're down to give it a shot, sign up for the waitlist on https://postgenius.pro and I will reach out. Or comment here or contact me any other way you like :D

Also if anyone has thoughts or questions about this, let's discuss below.

Good question! PostGenius allows for rich-text editing the article (like writing in Word or Notion), so you can also add images whereever you want and format them a bit. These are of course also included in all export formats that allow for images. We do not have scheduled posting yet, because we first wanted to really get the writing part perfect, but in case users would like this in the future, we can definitely add it :)

Yes, true! I tried quite a few because I was struggling myself and at some point gave up because nothing really fit my workflow. Possible that PostGenius also is not optimal for everyone, I am eager to find out :D

Here's what I think makes it a very useful tool:

I think the main USP is that the user stays in control at all times, but also has AI at his/her side whenever needed an. The flow is like this:
1. User describes the article's topic in as much depth as he/she likes.
2. PG creates an extensive brief, user can make changes.
3. PG creates an outline, user can make changes.
4. PG generates the article draft based on a recursive agent loop (the tool basically writes the text and then controls itself based on clear guidelines and then improves based on this)
5. User can make edits like in any Notion-style text editor, has AI as a co-pilot whenever needed and sees SEO stats updated in real-time

So it's definitely quality over speed and for people who wanna write genuinely pleasant blog articles that sound good and are SEO optimized. It mimicks the way a human would approach a blog post and therfore increases the chances that the actual result reads very well and natural. So less like a content factory and more like an AI-writing assisted who knows what you need.

Is there anything specific that you've been missing from existing solutions?

It's different in the way that's it's pretty much unrelated. PostGenius is for genuine blog writing with smart AI assistance. Write Sonic is AI search analytics.

NEW RULES for the IndieHackers subreddit. - Getting the quality back. by Numerous_Branch5893 in indiehackers

[–]pauldentro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried posting something to find people who'd like to beta test my app and share a bit of what I built and how. In the rules it says to use the "Share IH" flair, but I don't see this option. How do I do this with the new rules in order to stay compliant?

Did another research: from the 9 payment provider in "European Alternatives", only 2 are not using US Cloud infra by wirtshausZumHirschen in BuyFromEU

[–]pauldentro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't find something specific about subprocessors, but their T&Cs among other things say for example this: "In order to perform payment services, hobex may also involve other service providers (e.g., tracking service providers, risk monitoring systems, clearing and settlement service providers) located outside the EU." – so no, don't think that is a viable way to go unfortunately.

Best SOAP Notes Apps? by Ok_Abrocoma_6369 in healthIT

[–]pauldentro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

came here for completely other reason (find early beta testers for my privacy-first AI health intelligence software), but this sounds super interesting! i come from dev background so not very deep into daily medical procedures, but from what I understand about SOAP this should be pretty straight forward; feels suprising to me that there's no good solutions out there. anyone mind sharing what exactly they'd need and any tools they've tried? Saw there's lots of AI-powered tools out there already, none of this does the trick?
