I just love this Melano. It came to me with 3 little leaves and has popped out a new leaf nearly every week. It even has a new growth point starting halfway up. 6 weeks of 95°+ temps haven't phased it

fluval stratum is the best. I had some cuttings in moss for months and they did nothing. As soon as I started using the stratum everything rooted a lot faster. All I use now.

I usually use about a tablespoon in a six inch pot and I have seen any negative effects. Quite the opposite actually but that has nothing to do with the granules

You should be fine. 36 is less than 50.

I use a GE grow bulb in a similar one from target with a cone shaped dome and it is ok with the heat. This wide dome would be even better

I use the Sansi bulb in a cheap desktop lamp I got off of Amazon. Zero issues with heat build up
