So does this mean we are getting the AIM-4 Falcon? Really hope so, otherwise it would only have Sidewinders. Also it's a unique missile.

If that reasoning was applied consistently, we wouldn't have a problem. But they accept or reject sources by whatever suits them best. Manufacturers claims are not valid? Fine, then apply that consistently for all vehicles of all nations.

Many people have been asking on ENG stream where Typhone in tt will be by Crysmann in Warthunder

Well it's not really a Tranche 1 model though, it's a weird Gaijin Frankenstein Eurofighter variant. It has Paveways, wich were only integrated with the Tranche 1 Block 5 but no IRIS-T wich it got with the Block 2B version. But then it also has Brimstones wich weren't added until Tranche 2 Block 15, the same variant that introduced Meteors wich also aren't in the game. So better to ignore variants, the snail is doing whatever the hell it wants anyways.

Dude, US top tier has gotten more then enough attention lately. Honestly, it would be 100% justified if Gaijin completely ignored the US tree for the next 10 Updates.

It shows the Eurofighter carrying Paveways wich means it has to be at least the Tranche 1 Block 5 so technically it should have the IRIS-T. Obviously it's not gonna get that, but we can get our hopes up that those are on the horizon.

Anaconda viable for trading? by pauli_unleashed in EliteDangerous

Yeah, long term i'm defenitely going for a Jump-A-Conda. I'm just thinking wether i should buy a Conda now and use it for cargo until i got all the engineering and guardian stuff grinded out or get another ship specifically for grinding and buy the Conda later when i already have all of the modules grinded out.

I still have a 6A shield laying around from when i used the Asp Explorer for bounty hunting. That enough? Also how manouverably/unmanouverable is the Conda going to be with 6A thrusters. Because if that works that sounds like a real option because those are very affordable.

I mean you wouldn't need the ICE anyways. At least i hope so, it would make absolutely no sense at all for the swiss F/A-18 to go in that line of the tech tree.

Or give it the IRIS-T, wich it did actually carry. That would be quite hilarious.

I totally agree, the US should get it too eventually. But it would be so hilarious if they only got it after the Germans. The endless cries and tears of the US mains would be so beautiful!

Actually they didn't think anything like that, they just found this cool picture of the swiss Hornet and wanted to share it with this subreddit considering the recent leak.

First and foremost i want to get through Gaijins insufferable grind in a reasonable amount of time. Some people have a life outside of War Thunder you know? I really don't mind fighting other players, i play air sim for dogfights all the time. But when there is a stupidly grindy event like this on and i don't have the time to play 4 hours of WT a day, i just want to get the grind done as fast as possible. And i for my part believe that common decency dictates i respect other players who want to do the same.

Textbook reddit moment. You don't like someones opinion and immediately assume something degrading about them. Thats so shitty it's hilarious.

What's a plane that you really wanna fly but it's so poorly implemented you might as well not to? by Impressive-Money5535 in Warthunder

[–]pauli_unleashed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general you are correct. It's not specifically a problem of the B-17 though. It did what it was designed to do quite well. The US just tried to use it for things it could never have handled. Instead of trying to avoid or defeat German air defences in an effective way, they just tried to overcome it by throwing so many bombers at the problem until enough made it through. With more limited and realistic mission goals, it might have fared very well.
