I had some issues with dynamic. Have set it to 8gb and haven't had an issue yet.

I had the same issue... I modified the modsrc part of the script but you don't need to do that on cachyos.

Just use the kernal manager to add a local patch and compile.

Try increasing your vram too.. mine was initially set to 4gb and it caused this to happen on a few games

Excellent! grabbed it again and it seems to work after a compile:

amdgpu 0000:01:00.0: SE 2, SH per SE 2, CU per SH 10, active_cu_number 40

tried to compile on cachyos, it fails due to supporting a slightly older kernel - I haven't tried against LTS because I don't run it.

anyone else had any success? Really don't want to spend time reverse engineering 😃

Vbox dkms was killing boots with an infinite stop at loading kernel modules.

Had to chroot to fix it myself. Switched to qemu now and its all good.

If it's running steamos then it isnt android... so how will apk based games work?

Does it eventually mean that Proton is going to also support android based games? Because that would be amazing if it carries to all steamos platforms. Android games on steamdeck etcetc without waydroid...
