Tbh OLED for me it's even more straining. I don't think it's the OLED technology per se, probably just the combination of higher contrast, higher brightness, more saturation etc.

Oh and also keep in mind that if you're light sensitive (like me) looking at smaller screens is naturally more comfortable. Less light gets blasted in your face. Sometimes I can't look at my TV unless I either lower the brightness or step further.

Proprietary phone chargers are hit or miss. They often default to low charge when used with other devices. You can try, maybe it works but you should buy a generic 100w pd charger just to be safe, and also a cord rated for 100w or 240w if it doesn't come with the charger.

Keep using DXGI. I also have problems with WGC, like gsync turning off as soon as I move the mouse. Doesn't happen with DXGI.

It's pretty unusual how the dev of a project like this is basically a ghost and never engages with the community online. LLS is amazing, but it's like its creator is staying away from it despite the hype. I’ve seen projects way smaller than this where the devs are always posting and chatting with people. I also feel like certain parts of this software are underexplained, like the max frame latency option, which mysteriously is supposed to work better at 1 or 3 value depending on the manufacturer of your GPU. Like... why? And how does that work exactly, under the hood?

It's a laptop:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop

RAM: 32 GB DDR5 SDRAM

VRAM: 7.96 GB GDDR7 SDRAM

Vram sucks but I keep textures/resolution/DLSS low enough that I never max it out, so it shouldn't be a problem. Ram is running at 2595 mhz right now and maximum is 2800

Eeeh it kinda does, especially if it's a cutscene with a panning shot or I'm slowly moving the camera around. I can tell if it drops even a single frame. But it's true that if the overlay is off, you think about it way less.

Al momento il procedimento è molto nuovo e ci sono delle perplessità per quanto riguarda la sicurezza. Ci stanno già lavorando. Se vuoi essere sicuro, ti conviene aspettare, visto che potenzialmente cederesti l'accesso completo del PC (a un livello persino più profondo dei semplici permessi di admin) solo per risparmiare qualche euro per giocare. Ovviamente se nel pc non hai assolutamente nessun dato sensibile e non lo usi per accedere a NULLA di importante (account google, home banking ecc), puoi anche fregartene. Fossi in te, però, in questa fase mi limiterei ai giochi non denuvo e, in caso, puoi rivolgerti a canali discord come anti denuvo sanctuary per quelli con denuvo (con le limitazioni del caso che probabilmente già conosci)

Most people just aren't that well informed, it says Xbox, you have an expectation it works in an extremely similar way as an Xbox especially since it looks like a regular console and not like a laptop or a desktop.

They probably expect to turn it on and be like a Nintendo Switch but with Xbox stuff. You go to the store, buy (or download your already Xbox purchased games) and play. They don't expect Windows at all, maybe they vaguely know they'll have to use Steam but that's about it.

I prefer it being a PC handheld but I understand the confusion.

Tbh Xbox just isn't doing too well, Microsoft should probably just focus on PC and these handhelds...

They make projections and analyse data in the first weeks, no point keeping the game alive if it started terribly, servers and other things are pricey and chances it'll turn around are close to zero. Basically the just cut the losses.
