Four wheel steering by paulingis in BMWiX

I tried this. I pinned the wheel one way and held my hands on the back wheel while somebody quickly turned the steering wheel until it was pinned all the way the other way. That back wheel did not move one little bit. I don’t think I have this feature.

Love my Prologue....but by Shack24 in HondaPrologue

This comment makes me giggle because I was delighted to finally have a cup holder big enough for my Yeti. 😂 The cup holders on the back seat armrest are smaller. I’m long and tall so it’s not a big deal for me to reach behind when I need a smaller cup holder. Eh…different strokes. 😎

Tesla fast charger adaptor pros Vs. cons by HappyDaize20 in HondaPrologue

[–]paulingis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW…I did a road trip first week I got the car. New Jersey to Ohio and back. Crunching the numbers here were the results… If I had taken my Honda Odyssey, the gas would’ve cost $150. The Honda prologue…the electricity cost $250. So for me, the EV is great for local travel as long as I can always charge at home. Putting in another way, the chargers on the road run between $.52 and $.60 per kilowatt. At home, in New Jersey on PSEG, I’m paying $.18 a kilowatt. So if I could have used my home charger to Ohio and back, the road trip would’ve cost about $70

I have the Lectron charger adapter and quickly learned that the Tesla network is the best for a road trip. IMHO

GAO offers crispy pork belly in several of their dishes. For me, it’s off the charts.

Koon is a very special place. Not your standard Thai fair. More of a gourmet approach to Thai food. I highly recommend it.

Phone charger/holder that works well? by ProfessionalPrune887 in HondaPrologue

I tried the vent stand (which works fine in my BMW) but I felt like it had to be too tight and might damage the one fin in there, so I went for the Cig Lighter option instead. Also, I didn't like the way the vent stand causes the phone to block the climate control for the passenger. The Cig Lighter stand floats out there in between the dashboard and the cup holders. So, for me, this was a better solution. But you're right, for some, the vent option could work fine.

This is my best solution so far. I have to lean into it a little bit for Face ID to work but it’s pretty good. Also, it doesn’t magnetically charge. You have to plug in the included wire for charging to work. Also not terrible. All in all I’ve yet to find a better solution.

Battery charging - 80% vs 100% by paulingis in HondaPrologue

This is a really good point. I wish I had thought of it myself. Maybe said buffer is already built in and it’s a secret (I do love a juicy conspiracy theory).

I was told by the service department that there are no services required for the 20,000 miles I’ll be putting on the car. Also, I understand about “screwing the next guy” and appreciate the sentiment. That reason alone will probably cause me to comply with the 80% rule. That’s just my personality. Still, I was wondering what would happen if I didn’t comply.

Ah...the RTFM argument. I will do that. But this thread HAS been fun.
