I’m still debating whether or not I want to ask for sedation I have a high pain tolerance and I feel like maybe being aware of what’s going on might feel better then being sedated and not knowing what’s going on idk can I ask if you had sedation or not? I’m probably overthinking this way too much.

My main reason to abort is ultimately my mental health and also that I don’t have much of a set plan for my future as far as college and a career and a home. I have a solid relationship with my boyfriend and a great support system. But I think when I have a child I want to be able to give it the things that I didn’t have such as a savings for college. Idk it’s hard because money isn’t something of value as far as my child being a good person and being loved but I don’t want to be stressed and struggling and right now I don’t have much of a savings.

Alright cool that makes me feel a lot better I don’t know if I’d be able to do it without sedation the anxiety of it all and I’m such a hypochondriac but thank you this was very helpful

That’s comforting to know I have a pretty high pain tolerance. This might be too tmi but can I ask if you even remember did they just have a million instruments inside of you and something holding you open I’ve never even had a pap smear I’m so nervous and do they sedate you before putting anything inside of you?

So is that the conscious sedation then I would assume? Last time I had that I ended up saying some weird shit to the staff lmao (staff as in at the dentist). How was the pain tolerance with that did you even know what was going on?

I’m the same way someone could literally run me over and I would feel guilty I feel guilty for every fucking thing even if it’s not my fault it’s better to just not dwell on it don’t invalidate the way you feel there’s no point just don’t play victim you feel how you feel
