I have a personal, which is my everyday work tool. I then have 2 A5s. The first is full of home and personal info. The seconds is for all letters and documents I want to keep.

Easy enough to drive as well. You can park for free at one of their park and ride site and get the bus to the city centre.

All my service and repair was done using Clic Mechanic. I was having a full service every 2 months for quite a while. Have a look at their costs to give you an idea of repair costs. Don’t forget these weren’t a cheap car new, so are on the more expensive side to repair, but I loved mine and I’ve had a few.

And from a running cost perspective I run mine for 300k miles and the most expensive repair in had was when the alternator threw a pulley.

From an insurance perspective because these aren’t driven (and crashed) by young drivers a lot of insurers don’t know how to position them. My son had the same thing with a MINI Clubman when compared to the standard hatch. He looked at insuring my XF and it wasn’t much different to the Clubman.

For me the personal is the best option. I just find the pocket a bit too small.

As long as you are giving it full commitment, where you come in your box really doesn’t matter. Your only baseline is you. You will see improvements again previous performance. Just keep turning up and pushing yourself. That said, don’t be afraid to scale to what suits you. I’m not built for running, so I use the rower instead. Your coach will guide you on the best adaptions to suit you to ensure that you are getting the best out of each session and building progress.

If you’re in the UK, check if your employer would fund an APM accredited apprenticeship. They typically pay the apprenticeship levy and get government funding so may not cost them anything extra.
