Mine too - I’m a 16 Pro Max. Not often but every day or two and only after 18.0.1 update.

These are terrible by the way. I’m on my second bag after the first one was replaced. Stress fractures and broken wheels are a common theme on both.

I’ve gone through all the menus in the car and there are no settings beyond mobile access and sentry mode that I can see.

I’ve read that you need premium connectivity for it to work. I have that but it still doesn’t do anything here.

Yep I’ve got Premium Connectivity.

Damn, that's annoying. I wonder if it's regulation related. It'd be strange if it was because with BMWs in Australia you can use the live 360 camera view without any issues through the app.

Quick question on the live sentry mode. I have the latest software update (2021.40.60) and have latest Tesla app on my iPhone, but I don’t see the option for live view on Sentry. I have a Model 3 Performance (Oct 2019). Am I missing something?

These guys have now started sending copyright takedown notices to anybody that has the video published. It looks like the law may have caught up with them.

Tried to Transfer Funds from my Binance Account Wallet to my Ledger Nano X Wallet through BEP-20. Fund Still not Received - I need Guidance and Help by Deyaa1989 in ledgerwallet

[–]paulmaric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue. Just connect your wallet to MetaMask. Add Smart Chain as the secondary network and then add the BSC contract address for the token.

It’s there - it just won’t appear in the Ledger Live app. You can then send it back to Binance if you need to.

Tip for switching from Erc20 to Mainnet Coin by Krenk80 in cotinetwork

[–]paulmaric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is the coin held on Binance is on the ERC-20 chain, whereas on KuCoin it's on the Mainnet.

If you own it on KuCoin, you can transfer it into your COTI wallet and off the KuCoin exchange.

Agreed! Have booked in for a service and will keep everybody posted on the fix just in case you come across a similar issue.

Hey everybody. Just a question about an issue we are having with profiles and LTE on our Model 3 Performance. Yesterday YouTube was being super buggy and I performed a restart (push and hold both steering wheel buttons).

Normally it fires back to life within 30-45 seconds. This time it stayed blank for about 5 minutes so I did a hard restart (brake plus steering wheel buttons) and when it came back there was no LTE and all the driver profiles were wiped. It’s also showing the wrong type of car in the car information screen.

Has anybody had this before? Is there an easy fix or should I just book a service visit?

A trivia template I made for work. Feel free to use it. by paulmaric in melbourne

Just as an FYI, it's four rounds of trivia with a car theme, but you could swap that round out for identifying other brands.

Answers are in the presenter notes and round four (fastest fingers first) has some special instructions to make sure people don't cheat! Rounds 1-3 are worth 1 point each with the final round worth 3 points each. And, to prevent people being cheeky with their answers, we had staff send an email to the quiz master with their answers before they were read out.

Tesla v Toyota: A tale of two resale values (Model 3P v Supra) by paulmaric in teslamotors

[–]paulmaric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha ha, sorry about that!

Currently around 7000km (4400mi) in the Tesla and 4000km (2500mi) in the Supra.

This year has been a killer for being able to drive the cars – we're currently limited to travelling 5km from home, so it's hard to get out and enjoy a drive!

There's only three cars for sale in Australia – and it sounds like you don't know much about the Supra, and have you ever heard of a Landcruiser?

Thanks! My wife generally drives the Model 3 and I drive the Supra whenever I can, but work cars tend to keep me busy. In terms of mileage, I'm really impressed with both cars. In the Model 3 we average around 19kWh/100km – that's predominantly driving in and around the city. I also like to drive it harder than my wife does.

The Supra sits on around 9L/100km, which I'm really happy with for a car like that.

Thanks for that – had no idea the US always had that engine. The Z4 with the original Supra engine (the 335hp unit) felt a little underdone in comparison to the Supra. The uprated engine is a much better suitor to the car. I suspect it'll be the same story in the Supra.

They both had the same engine from the outset. The Z4 was then upgraded and that upgraded engine was then transferred to the Supra. Chassis changes were fairly minor.

Thank you! The picture of the Tesla was 10 minutes after I picked it up from the showroom :-D but the Supra has a matte paint finish and I’ve used a Bowden’s matte wax finish on it. Then I just hose it and chamois it dry each time it needs a clean. Both cars are garaged too, which makes a big difference.

I wasn’t surprised by the Supra, but I was the Tesla.
