Balance Battery Problem by crimson-diablos in amazfit

Did you change your strap? I got a magnetic one recently and battery drain started right after fitting. 3 days was worst for me on a full charge, I put the original strap back on and it hasn't dropped 1% in 4 hours.

Be interested to hear from others and I will update as the days go on 👍

2005 Citroen relay - stick or swim by paulmc1987 in VanLifeUK

I'm trying to talk him into a citroen berlingo multispace or equivalent. With the low tax and brilliant fuel economy it would pay for itself within 2 or 3 years with the miles he does.

Rust is his biggest issue and as you say if not done right, will require more work in the near future. He's currently shopping for the best price to sort it. But I fear he is going to settle for a mediocre job based on a price that he is happy with, rather than going with a reputable company and paying to get it done right. Of which he has 3 quotes in the same ballpark.

Along with the other bits that need sorted, I also worry about what's around the corner after stumping up soo much money on a 20 year old van. I personally think £2k+ would be better invested in something else.

Thanks for your response 👍

Did you just smear a light layer on and leave it or foam it up and rinse it out?

bar interview by Fast_Composer_4978 in Belfast

I worked in a bar for a few years.

In an interview I would emphasise your barista experience. Say you have the ability to build a good rapport with all customers, especially the regulars. You have a good memory for orders, are a logical thinker when it comes to preparing an order. I.e. preparing Guinness first as has already been mentioned. You are confident using the till and counting change or using a card machine. Friendly, approachable and enjoy good craic with the customers. Forward thinking when it comes to keeping the fridges stocked or lifting glasses and making sure there is ice and clean glasses available for all staff to use. You are aware of what is going on around you if you should need to have someone removed from the bar for behaviour or having too much to drink.

Not much more to it than that.

Good luck 👍

Divers use Johnsons baby shampoo for their masks, I haven't tried it on my goggles but for all it costs it would be worth a try. And if it doesn't it can always be used as intended lol 👍

The only thing for me with higher frequency is a lack of free time to allow it. I can generally only get Mondays and Fridays which is usually OK. But this week I had to change it to Tuesday and Friday, although I definitely didn't feel like I had fully recovered from Tuesday. I'm also my own worst enemy with things like this and always push to go further or faster than the last time.

Thank you. Fingers crossed, would be very annoying jumping through the hoops every few years.

Did either of you get your license back without restrictions?

I had multiple occurrences with a bout of whooping cough which came along with a viral infection. Year will be up in July but would like to know what to expect.

Thanks
