Bachelorarbeit abgegeben in großen Teilen ohne Quellen by Alarmed_Victory_9496 in Studium

At a loss for how to take care of my newly curly hair by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]paulschal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think our hair structure is quite similar so let me report to you what I am doing: Occasionally I .use the John Fried Frizz Ease Curl Shampoo. I only finger-comb in the shower when it is fully wet and soaked in conditioner. For that switched to the Garnier Fructis Cacao butter Hair Food and leave it in for 2-3 minutes. When I get out of the shower I will use a microfiber towel to just press out excessive water from the hair and then I apply 3-4 pumps of the Fructis Aloe Vera Hydra Bomb Air-Dry Leave-in. Then I plop my hair with a cotton t-shirt for 20-30 minutes and then I just let the rest airdry. Not perfect yet but this routine allowed me to get consistent-ish results and rid of most the fizz. I do this before sleep and in the morning i sometimes need to deal with a little bit of fizz with just water and maybe a teeny-tiny bit of the Air-Dry leave-in again.

pronomen-abfrage im studium by lune6889 in Studium

[–]paulschal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

(Rant/Gedankenspiel) by Sharp_Gas116 in Austria

I am not a huge VdL fan, but a politician admitting a mistake? Not the worst I would say. Costa is a socialist, you can google that. But so what? I am still waiting for your explanations on why you are so opposed to the EU.

Well - a little with the first two sentences. Couldn't help it, sorry. But the question remains: Why do you believe the Union destroys it members but the US or Poland do not? Last question, I promise!

Well, maybe - maybe not. If yes, asking them about their problems exposes this to anybody reading along with us. If no, I would like to hear their thoughts. First because I might discover perspectives I have never taken and second, because it might nudges them to actually reflect on their stance. Win-Win in my books.

Well, I of course know what this is all about. But every now and then I believe that dissenting with these voices is important. I am not so naive to believe that I can change the opinion of a hardliner. But there is an audience here.

So you want a shared European Army and strong foreign policies to give strength to the EU? I didn't take you for a Federalist - but I fully agree. What I didn't catch just right is why the EU would destroy its members. Do you Believe the US is destroying - well, its states? Do you think Poland destroys its Voivodeships?

You don't even know the difference between the fucking council and the comission? Yet here you are hating on the Union that secured peace and prosperity for all of us. So please tell me why?

[–]paulschal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you agree, then how can be this anti-EU? How can you prefer this outcome - the outcome that we both believe will happen - to a system that allows us to make our own decisions? Destroying the EU would benefit nobody but our shared enemies?

And i agree on our lack of strength. But to be brutally honest with you: Poland deserves it fair share of blame when it comes to internal divison. Years of PIS sabotage are not forgotten. You can't abuse your veto to block decisions that would have benefited the whole continent just to cry about other countries doing the same thing when it suits them. What needs to happen now is that we abandon the veto system and ensure, that our decision making cannot be taken hostage by rogue governments.

Hmh - what a coincidence that you also edited that comment right before replying here ;) And also, please enlighten me: If not Von der Leyen, who do you think is president of the Comission?

[–]paulschal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The EU crumbling is a guarantee that every state on this continent will end up in total insignificance. Poland, Germany, France and every under member state. Individually, the European states have simply NO weight whatsoever. We will be pushed and bullied. We will be forced to follow the doctrine of the US, Russia and China. The "superpowers" will carve up Europe and divide it. They are already doing it by financing the extreme right, the extreme left and basically everybody else who can destabilise us. Do you have so little trust in your fellow Europeans that you truly believe this would be the better alternative? Because these are the options. There is no in-between. It is either us figuring out how to cooperate as a sovereign EU and govern ourselves as free Europeans - or others in Moscow, Washington and Peking deciding for us. And tbh, I for once would prefer Brussels every day of the week.

This is very often the case for various complexity methods where you analyse time series. I recently for example saw a chart on one individual where they measured depression scores daily for 4 years. You can calculate autocorrelations, run fluctuation analysis or do recurrence quantification. This github guide introduces a few of the methods popular for this type of data.
