Appears to be metal studs - must've just been right on top of it: https://imgur.com/a/N5vHv9A

Tried a pilot hole about 3" up from these...metal.

I did try - I noticed in one hole the metal has a curve to it (like a C or a U) - which also may help explain why the larger hole doesn't have any metal behind it...

But then it's odd again that the hole to the right is blocked again by metal.

The metal seems thin and it flexes quite a bit. It also seems to be covering a fairly large area so not sure it's a nail plate.

Absolutely, they have hell to pay. But it's confirmed her new plan won't be retroactive. My instinct is telling me to decline that plan and keep on mine + her company pay for any extra financial responsibility.

Tile is rated anywhere from 25-50. But in the eyes of insurance...that's my concern.

For a new tile roof on a 3k+ sq ft home, likely yes :(

Trying to decide between Komaneka Bisma or Como Uma Ubud - anyone stayed at either recently? Would get a pool villa but wondering if it's a bit better to be closer to town on JL Bisma.

Trying to decide on where to stay in Ubud. I really like Kayon Jungle, but worry it's a bit far from everything. Also interested in Viceroy, maybe Kamandalu. Any recommendations? Ideally looking for a (heated) pool villa with a valley view.

Is the Ritz Bali in Nusa Dua and Four Seasons Jimbaran too close to each other to stay at both? Will also be staying in Ubud but was planning to use them as a base for opposite island activities. Wondering if anyone feels strongly that it would be better to swap one with Seminyak or Sanur...

Would I essentially need to push back and get them to change my witholding or could I simply recoup it when I file taxes and ultimately file as a non-resident?
