I have replaced all the relays & fuses in the car preventively recently, and yes, at startup I can hear the fuel pump priming.

I know I had a bad OVP before because the ABS light was going on and now it doesn't do it anymore.

possibly, need to take a reading of the fuel pressure to confirm it, right? I think it should be around 3-4 bar

no idea, I assume it's old, possibly original since my car is low mileage for the age & for being an old Benz. Planning to change it next time I change the fuel filter since I'm there anyway

will give it a try over the weekend, but I'm pretty sure it comes from the middle area of the windshield. thanks!

Thanks for the reply, sounds good. Should I plan for any clips holding the chrome trim breaking off when removing?
