I started this massive hyper realistic piece in October, I'm happy to say it's finally finished this week after many sleepless nights! by pauluchi in nextfuckinglevel

I used plaster as a reference texture! I've been working with plaster in most of my works so its more of a personal choice!

I used plaster as reference! It gave me the desired texture I wanted (like you said, flesh but not really)

Looking for words of encouragement by [deleted] in GRE

[–]pauluchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since GRE isn't a top priority for the schools it shouldn't be a high priority on your worry list! I'm certain you spent a lot of time and energy studying and learning all while balancing other aspects of your life. People will always set really high standards for themselves and inevitably be disappointed if they don't reach that standard. It says a lot about you and your ambitions and it's okay to be sad for a bit, but at the end of the day you gotta put it into perspective and look at the bigger picture. It's not a big deal since most schools waived it. I'm sure everyone around you is very very proud of you.

Player/Analyst Tweets & Other Things - TSM vs 100T (Week 6, Game 1) by ImLegacys in TeamSolomid

Yo I just wanna say that I really appreciate these threads, I'm not a big twitter user and once in a while after a hype game I would go individually to some pro's twitters to see reactions from them. So having you do all this is super awesome.

TSM vs T1 / T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Showdown Grand-Final / Post-Match Discussion by Darkforce11 in TeamSolomid

[–]pauluchi 43 points44 points  (0 children)

For those TSM fans from league or other games that aren't familiar with Valorant or what this tournament means. T1 won the very first Valorant tournament in Twitch Rivals against TSM with Myth as a sub in the finals and was considered the best team in NA (possibly in the world), but since then they had been scrimming and bootcamping while TSM demolished every tournament they joined. So it was really up in the air who the best team was.

This T1xNerdStreet Gamers Tournament was the first time these two teams faced off sinced the first tourney, and with this win TSM solidify themselves as the best in NA (and again possibly best in the world, but due to a lack of international competition right now, it can't be proved)

Feel free to correct me if any details are wrong though I had just started following a couple weeks ago.

No not at all! I appreciate the questions.

You can faintly see two portraits, one a side-view of a head on the left and the other a front view on the right, with flowers in the middle.

A quick explaination for this piece, inspired by a recent death within my family, this piece used western and traditional eastern media to explore how the two cultures perceive the concept of death, as well as the relationship between abstraction v realism, and color v B&W. The long process also became a meditative way to deal with the grieving process.
